Nearly 3 months ago we had left Pocomoke because of my husband’s work. Before we left we ""both"" checked with this pharmacy, meaning I was there with him so both our ears were not deceived as well in what we were told by the pharmacy tech and the older pharmacist. My husband asked if refills could be sent to another address in the mail since we would be well over 800 miles away. At the time they said it would not be a problem and this was just before we left. Here it is nearly 3 months later and I went ahead and called in my husband’s refill, at first the pharmacy tech acted as though in my opinion as if she was not really paying attention to me when I had to repeat myself in clarifying in mailing the script out. That is when she changed her tune. When my husband called her after he received my text concerning the issue they created she flat out ""denied"" that she ever had said anything like that to him. Well, you know what I must be deceived and a liar too, boy, my inner ear disease must really be off to the point that I must be hearing things too because I was physically there in the pharmacy when she said that mailing the script was not a problem and they have done it before in the past for others and she had checked with the older pharmacist for verification, before we ever left out that business door. We don't play games like this. Regardless even if it was prohibited for ""them"" to mail a script as this pharmacy tech claimed to my husband today then they need to explain how places like mail order pharmacies get away with mailing prescriptions even though most prescriptions are controlled substances. And this is the reason why she (the pharmacy tech) said they wouldn't mail his prescription 3 months later after the fact that they said they would. We were willing to pay for it in advance as well as the shipping and handling. My Dad is a retired pharmacist maybe in my opinion its games and red-tape politics like this that caused him to retire after 35 years. Truly sad, we wouldn't in our opinion recommend anyone who we still know in Pocomoke to this pharmacy, too unreliable and too many office politic games in our opinion.
