This is my first review, if thats what this is. lol This question got my attention and I just love telling everyone how we ring in the New Year every year.
I have 2 kids. A 17 yo boy and a 14 yo girl. They both have bowled on leagues for years now at The Playdrome in Cherry Hill, NJ.
About 6 years ago we were sitting around wondering what to do for New Years that I could include the kids. I'm a single mom and I hate leaving them home so I can have fun. So we decided to go bowling. We got 2 lanes. One for us and then one for friends of ours and thats what we did.
Well, we have been doing it every year now and have added 4 more families to the fun. It's GREAT. The kids have a blast, we can sit and enjoy time with adults while the kids bowl or we can bowl. It doesn't matter. Plus, we have a really good time.
A lane is $129. It is SO worth the money because they play games and do trivia. There is a buffet, they give out hats and noisemakers. Champagne at midnight. We bring sparkling juice for the kids. It really is an amazing time and now that the kids are older and are getting invited to parties, they could easily not go, but they don't.
They LOVE IT!
