I was watching the 5pm news and they reported that all the planned parenthood locations in the area were giving away the emergency birth control pills (the morning after pill) for free today. I decided to go over, to get it just in case I ever needed it, or to have on hand if someone I know needed it (yes, I have someone particular in mind). I went in and WOW, it was really nice. There were signs all over that advertised items they offered for free. They do all sorts of stuff like ob/gyn appointments, tests, birth control pills, ect. But what shocked me was that they now offer smoking cessation aids like losenges, gum and patches for free! They also have dental dams for oral sex (that come in flavors!) and condoms for free! What a great idea! I can't believe I didn't go here earlier in life, before I was married! I will bring my son when he is old enough, just so that he can learn about safe sex and how to prevent disease and pre-marital (or teenage) pregnancy.
