The wings were quite tasty and the pizza crust iz awesome although the toppings were a lil undercooked. I had a calzone and the pepperz made the middle all watery and disgusting. Our waitress didn't refill our drinks untill she brought us the check and men we were ready to pay she never came to get the cash. I am always remembered when I go here!! (About once every 4 months) The thin crust pizza is great and they offer a great variety of toppings. They have the best Stuffed Grape Leaves and Spanokopita in town! (I only wish for bigger portions) The Gyros are great as well! I highly recommend the Greek Pizza!! My family and I love Pirates Pizza. Their gyro plates are amazing and the thick chewy crust on the pizza is unbeatable. Plenty of toppings to choose from and you will definitely not leave there hungry. There's one thing that is lacking however and that's their service. If you are one of the only tables there then there's no problem but the second they get a small rush, service goes down the can. No refills, no seeing if you need anything...it's even hard to get your bill to leave! (it's not even a big restaurant) Overall I recommend it, maybe on a weekday when it's not as busy. I used to go here twice a week about 7 years ago when it was still the first owner (this is the third) it used to be the best pizza anywhere now its the WORST the toppings are UNDERCOOKED and skimpy compared to before Pros: Dough Cons: Expensive undercooked food more

Great place! Love the murals on the wall...great place for family night out or a casual date, the Italian calzone is delicious and HUGE. I could not believe how good it was...at first I thought it might be all crust and sauce but I had no worries once I cut into it. Lots of meat and melty cheese...the ricotta cheese was awesome. The Pirates Special pizza is the best, the crust is delicious. Thick, crispy, chewy, yummy! The wings are good too...I tried the hot wings...not as hot as I had hoped for, but flavorful. The wait staff is very friendly, polite and attentive. Considering the amount of food you get and the quality of the food, I don't think it is at all expensive. All in all a real find. The pizza here is OK... not great, not bad... it has too much cheese and not enough sauce for my tastes and it doesn't save well... meaning: eat it all at the restaurant (or right away if it's to go). Pirate's Pizza doesn't re-heat well. The pizza crust is AMAZING however! Thick, crunchy, chewy, tasty, KILLER! The best are the sandwiches. The Panini's. I had a roasted pepper and salami and cheese one and it was the best sandwich of any kind I've had in ages! It came with fries which were NOT your average fries. Normally when I get fries, I rarely eat them all, or even half. I ate every last fry and even the fry crumbs and was left raving mad for more damn fries!!! AWESOME!!!! I don't know what they're doing to these fries, but they are uniquely crispy crunchy SOB's that you'll never get enough of... Great pasta and lasgna too. A bit pricey on the whole, but the food is damn good; the pizza is OK. 8.5 stars out of 10. They also have a decent selection of micro brews. When I see a joint like this get top marks, it makes me wonder just how tasteless people in Reno can be. Obviously the folks who love this place have never been further east than Winnemucca. Best pizza anywhere? Maybe anywhere on Peckham, but I would rather eat some of the stuff on Fear Factor than dine here. more

Our search for great pizza is over (finally!) If you can eat more than 3 pieces during one sitting by yourself, my hat's off to you! Nice thick, tasty crust and generous toppings are the norm.
