The Place 3/28/2003

I have heard of Pinnacle Peak through various people, but i never experienced it until my boyfriend took me there on our one month anniversary, it was quite an experience. i have never seen so much lively in any employees before and it was great to see how the employees made the customers feel important. it was a joy to go there and because of that my boyfriend and I are well on our way to celebrate our 6 month anniversary, hopefully it will be at yours truly Pinnacle Peak. Pros: outstanding, diff. atmosphere, entertainment more

Don't dress up 2/7/2003

Don't plan on wearing your favorite tie to this place if you want to be wearing it when you leave. Go to the Peak for a good steak and a casual and fun dining experience with the family. more

Wild, Wild 'Steak Fest' 2/6/2003

I discovered Pinnacle Peak in November of 2002, and I can't get enough of it! So far (albeit I really have'nt been to enough steak houses in Tucson to fully claim this) to me this has been the absolute *best* steak around. Not to mention, the atmosphere is totally for the family (just don't arrive with a tie! hint, hint! :D) Cons: attendance more

Peak your interest 2/4/2003

Pinnacle peak was the bes steak in town. the atmosphere in the place really made it. Dont wear a tie, they will cut it off of you and hang it in the restaurant. The meat was done to perfection and the way we each ordered it. Please try it when in tucson. i know i will come back for another. more

pinnacled above the rest 1/13/2003

An excellent steak house, often coppied never equaled. A place where a mechanic or street sweeper can eat an excellent steak without leaving his wallet behind, or having to be seated in a conrner because of income or social standing. Abner you could learn a lesson here , as could some of the rest of the compitition. Pros: inexpensive, consistantly good, feel good place more

Taste the Old West, at Old west Prices 1/13/2003

Pinnacle Peak offers entertainment and Great food at a price anyone can afford. A nice size mesquite grilled ""T"" Bone can be had for as little as $12.00. The area around the restaurant is set up like an old west town and is called Trail Dust Town. Even on busy nights the wait never seems long as you stroll around Trail Dust Town visiting shops and/or watching Old West Gun Fights which are acted out hourly. Pros: Great Food, Low Prices, Entertaining atmosphe Cons: Crowded, Parking more

best in the west 1/1/2003

I used to live by pinnacle peak in tucson and still visit often. The first night and a couple others before I leave I head for pinnacle peak. My favorite restaurant. I crave the steaks and pinto beans. more

Love the grub 12/10/2002

I absolutely love going to Pinnacle Peaks in the Trail Dust Town. The food is great. It does get pretty crowded and the waiting list is always long. But with the little shops surrounding it and the other sites....like the blacksmith, the gazebo, etc. it helps make the wait not so bad. more

Ribs vs steak 12/3/2002

The ends of the rack of ribs were hard and dry, the middle ribs on the rack were tasty and finger licking good. The steak was cooked to order and very good. The baked potato was fine. Service was very good. Pros: decor, service, reasonable Cons: dry, hard ribs more

Family Fun! 10/7/2002

Pinnacle Peak is simply the best steakhouse in Tucson. For almost 50 years, no other steakhouse even comes close. Lots of fun things to do in Trail Dust Town, gunfights, arcades, train, etc. Pros: great food, family entertainment, a real value Cons: sometimes crowded more

STUFFED FULL! 9/27/2002

A REALLY FUN COWBOY STYLE PLACE TO EAT. THE STEAKS ARE EXTREMEY BIG AND VERY TENDER AND YUMMY! GREAT FOR A RELAXED FUN TIME. DON'T WEAR A TIE OF THEY WILL CUT IF OFF! I SAID, RELAXED. ALSO, DON'T ASK FOR YOUR STEAK WELL DONE AS YOU JUST MIGHT END UP WITH A CHARRED COWBOY BOOT! Pros: YUMMY!, INEXPENSIVE, GOOD PARKING more

don't waste your time 9/8/2002

the ambience was pretty cool, but the place is a pig sty. dried food on the walls, filthy bathrooms, etc. the steaks were not the quality they used to be. smaller portions and lower quality meat. don't waist you time. Pros: ambience Cons: filthy, low quality meat, crowded more

Yahoo 9/2/2002

Food is very good nice sizes. Everything is extra though even baked potato. A little noisy But a fun place.Prices are not expensive for what you get. The wait is very long if you don't get there early Pros: Good Food, Nice size, Casual Dress Cons: Noisy at times, everything ala cart, Can't wear a tie more

Lets hear it for the Peak 8/8/2002

Home of the famous cowboy steak!!!Pinnacle Peak has been around for a long time. The reason behind this is because of what they offer.Excellant Food, awsome service, plus the added pleasure of having your tie cut off. They have a wide selection of things for your entire family, including train rides ,gun fights, stunt showes and much much more!!!Pinnacle Peak offers a 32 oz steak for 13.95 believe it or not.No where else will you find that price.I had the Pit beef.If you are asking what is Pit Beef?It is a shreded beef that has been has been cooked in a deep pit for 24 hrs the flavor is awsome. Pros: Good Food, several attractions, prices Cons: wait time, parking, no smoking more

Steak Me Baby! 8/4/2002

If you love steak, go to Pinnacle Peak! But I do not suggest wearing a tie. The will cut it off and hang it from the rafters. It is a tradition though so don't panic. Great family food and the little town that surrounds it is a great place to shop for gifts! more
