Pink Dot

I recently found myself in the predicament of needing to order food after midnight and have it delivered. This gets good really fast, since my only option at this time was Pink Dot. This is where I was left up short because as my luck would have it, ""Yummy"" with the better food and an actual existence of real service of any kind, is closed by midnight. I Called and ordered some food at around 1 a.m. and once 2 hours elapsed and still no sign of my order or when it would arrive, I began calling. That's where it got really interesting. I called the first time, was immediately put on hold for 20 minutes, and then was disconnected. I called back and got someone and was told my order was coming, with no actual conveyance of when it actually might arrive, this would occur repeatedly. The last time I got someone, I was told I would get my order in 5 minutes. They stopped answering the phone at around 3:30 so I then had the misfortune of listening to their recording describe all this wonderful food to me that in actuality, I had no chance of getting. By 6 a.m. I realized it just wasn't coming! Since I was on medicine and couldn't leave the house, I found that my entire night was being controlled by this establishment. For some reason, the staff that mans the phones has a tremendous difficulty being honest about anything, especially the fact that you actually aren't going to get your order, maybe! Don't think either that any previous order I made from Pink Dot, separate from this went any more smoothly. It's not like the notion of having food delivered is a new one. Companies have been doing it successfully for some time now. I'm not quite sure why a store opened for the main purpose of doing just that now fails so miserably. Do yourself a favor and all of us a favor. Don't ever order from Pink Dot. Let them financially fail as miserably as they are failing in every aspect of their business! Does anyone else notice all the postivie reviews read almost exactly the same. ?? Sound Like A commercial? Lets me tell you the REAL deal with Pink Dot. This review is written in reatime as its happening. It is now 4:20 in the morning. I placed my order at 1:30 am. Pink Dot closes at 3 am so its not like i placed my order at the proverbial tail end. After repeated calls to customer service they have cut my order in half. I am literally staying awake to recieve this order. A this point i am not even sure it will arrive. They have promised the driver is on his way after 3 calls at different intervals. Have you ever felt like the consumer is the little guy and has no influence over the product they purchase? Ever felt like your frustration is pointless and makes no difference? Well if you havent (which i doubt) then try Pink Dot. Call Yummy if its before Midnight. They have always delivered in less than an hour and their cutomer service actually serves. They have dropped my calls, told me they were contacting the driver, hung up on me again, then put me on hold yet again. OK its now 4:30...get the realtime thingy yet?? Avoid this company at all costs. Avoid it out of principle. Avoid it to send a message. Avoid it because you deserve to get your food in less than 3 hours. Avoid it if you dont want to be lied to. Avoid it if you dont want to be left on hold for 20 minutes at a time. Avoid it to reduce this company to bankruptcy in the hopes that a more suitable competator will take its place and give you what you deserve. Do i sound angry? Ummm yes, give it a shot and see how crazy i sound. Try calling this company after midnight and see what you get. Then take the time to do what i am doing and write what i have written. Over the last year Pink dot is number 2 ON MY speed dial! I am so co dependant on it considering Im from New york and used to delivery... It doesnt matter how much or little you want Pink Dot will deliver to you...... always within less than 45 mins I cant begin to tell you how many nights i have orded The chicken pasta verde (my fav) in the middle of the night... overall I seriously love Pink Dot and could not have made it in la without more

I don't usually do reviews, but this place is too good to not share with others. I have been going to Pink Dot for years and they have never let me down. Whether it's ordering alcohol, cigarettes, and snacks for a last minute get together or ordering a yummy wrap, like the Samuri my favorite, when I am too lazy to cook. Even the quality of the food shocked me, so fresh and delicious. i have most likely tried everything on the menu and have never come across something that wasn't scrumptious, especially there wraps and pastas. \r What would I do with Pink Dot, it has saved me soo many times! I cant bealive a place like this exist its genious, so were at the palazzo drinking all day no one wanted to drive to get more drinks or food, I have allways seen pink dot never called before till now and all I can say is WoW. We had our whole wish list knocked out with one call to the DOT, chicken ceaser wrap amazing baked potato amazing and patron amazing. I would just like to say thank you to all the peep's at the DOT.\r \r Pros: quick, conviniant, and dont have to drive drunk to get booze for the party! Pink Dot has a pretty damn good selection of foods. Have you all tried the nutella croissant, with bananas? The other night I ordered a PD Reuben, a bottle of Chianti and a two nutella croissants with my favorite fruit (read above). I live in West Hollywood proper, the food got there on time. The guy who answered the phone said they were running a little late. 45 minutes, he said. It actually arrived in 30 minutes. I've always been impressed. I order about 5 times a month, and the operators have always been friendly (they're pretty damn cool too). Ive recommended PD to all my friends and they dig it too. First of all, I find it funny that most of the previous reviews seem to be written in the same voice and format...so I doubt the previous reviews are from real users.\r \r I had a horrid experience last night. I called to order pizza and something else. Five minutes later, I call to add something and am told that the order had already left the building so there is nothing I can do. The pizza arrives AN HOUR LATER, cold. Keep in mind I live 5 mins away by car from Pink Dot. The driver does not give me the correct change, and I have to prove it to him by pulling out a calculator. \r \r Happy to have something to eat without heating up the kitchen, I grab a couple of slices and realize that the pizza is ready-made, frozen pizza, probably from Costco!!!! $15.99 for FROZEN PIZZA after I asked the guy if they make it fresh and he says yes???\r \r So if you have an hour to wait around, and you order food, don't order the pizza because it is horrid, make sure you order cold food.\r \r Oh and BTW, I have ordered from Pink Dot before...ordered a couple of vegetables due to a dinner emergency, asked for fresh, and couldn't use them in the end because they were ROTTED inside when I sliced them open. Imagine just sitting at home and you pick up the phone and you make a call to Pink Dot and you order whatever the hell you want and all of a sudden its right at your doorstep. Could life in LA get better than that? I don't think so. I just left a club last and stopped by ordered some sandwiches and grubbed. I wish they had one of these everywhere so I when I sit back at the hotel, i don't have to pay all that money for room service and so I can avoid the hefty bill! the dot is the best! Pink Dot is awesome! I recommend the Alfredo Pasta with Chicken. I had an after party at my house last week after the club and didn't have any food or liquor for my guests, I call called Pink Dot and placed and order around 1 AM and they were waiting at my house when I got home. I love Pink Dot! I order 3 to 4 times a week. There sandwiches are great, especially the grilled chicken pesto with provolone and avocado. You can also get groceries and liquor from them aswell. Pink Dot is the BOMB! Pros: Best Food more

PINK DOT IS AN AMERICAN DREAM COME TRUE!!! I never thought that I could have laundry detergent, alcohol and an amazing deli sandwich delivered to my door and all from the same place.. It is the MODERN GROCERY STORE, it is a genius idea.. When I am sick I never have to leave my home, from Tylenol Cold to chicken noodle soup, delivered at my door in 30 minutes.. The fact that they deliver until 3:00AM is unbelievable, and believe you me, once you start ordering you can stop, PINK DOT IS ADDICTING! BAD,BAD,BAD, PinkDot I have used three times now and I must say it has been three times too much. Every time I call too place my order I get a cashier who seems too be occupied with someone else. Probably occupied handling sales in the store. When I ask a question most times I get a answer ""I dont know"". They are poorly trained by the management and Pinkdot should devote the phone orders too someone in a room where there is peace and quiet and keep thier store sales staff seperate from phone orders. The cashiers always seem rushed too get you off the phone and that makes for a unpleasant experience. The delivery guys are some of the worst in L.A.. They forget too bring things, speak very little english, and twice have delivered broken items. Once was eggs and the other was when the driver brought a six pack of beer(bottles) and he said he dropped the bag and two of the bottles broke and beer was all over my magazines. He said he would let the cashier know and a credit would be issued and that never happened. This company is very poorly run and please avoid them. My recommendation is to order 1 day ahead from Albertsons ONLINE. Pros: Items arrive cold Cons: Poor customer service, late deliverys, high prices. more

I order PinkDot all the time and I am very pleased with their service. I also think that they have great food aswell I recommend the Chicken Pesto Sandwhich or the Pesto Verde Pasta with Chicken. The prices are reasonable considering that they deliver in about 30 min. I recomend it to everyone. Pros: Fast, convinient. good food more

I am so glad that this service exists!!!!! It's late Saturday night and I've got more guest than I have alcohol, and I'm buzzed. Can't Drive..... What do I do? I Pink Dotted it. Got my booz and some munchies about 30 min later. Now it's Sunday and I got a hot one in my bed from last night. Don't have the skills to cook, so I Pink Dotted it! 20 Min later, we were having Turkey Gobblers, Chicken Pesto's and Arizona iced teas.
