This Med Spa is easy to miss, as it's a small storefront on Lincoln Blvd, in Santa Monica, but by the Starbucks close to the Venice border. The small size or what they call ""Intimate Setting"" actually does make for a cozy med spa setting. I'm glad that I did find this little gem. The doctor is very gentle and sincere, but seems to go out of his way to explain all the complications of each procedure which would have scared me away, but I've had them before many times (having to drive to Beverly Hills which is no fun in traffic.) I like the combo Botox(at $10/unit) and Juvederm ($500/syringe) injections as he used that special cold wind machine before injections and I really barely felt them. He was not the cheapest when I compared prices, but since he was so close to my house, I gave them a try. The setting is intimate but not fancy, but he appears to have a lot of high tech machinery packed in there. The rooms seemed a little small, but the doctor was so attentive to my needs, I felt like his very special patient, and it was only my first visit there (but not my last.)\r
He never tried to upsell me any services, which I liked, but his receptionist did not speak English very well, which is a real negative for his business. She seemed to be really trying and genuinely seemed to care about me. I think she is Filipino.\r
The waiting room is cozy with a huge fireplace, there was parking out front, but I was told that if ever it was full, I could park in the Starbuck's parking lot next door and have a coffee on the Pier Laser Med Spa account when done. \r
I didn't have any Laser services or Facial Peels, but I can tell that the doctor is an expert in Juvederm and Botox as I didn't get one bruise, the injections didn't hurt, and he gave me that upturned steamy pout that doesn't look ""done"". (I had driven by there many times, but when it was the closest to my 90291 zip code on the juvederm-com website, I had to try it.) \r
I give it five stars (6 minus one for his secretary)
