People Need To Get Out More 5/12/2004

It saddens my heart each time I see Picurro Pizzeria at the top of the City Search list. It is not a bad pie, but average food should not grace the coveted spot. Although Picurros is a local chain, its numerous locations and generic approach make it almost as corporate as Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns. Definitely not worth any special mention. For something above average give Zacharys, Oreganos, or Roccos a try. Cons: , Average Atmosphere, Average Value more

If you want a tasty yet reasonable alternative to pizza hut, this is one of a few in Tucson. I recommend the Marguerite - basil, garlic, tomato and cheese. Yum! Pros: inexpensive, delivery, delicious more

Greatest pie in the city of Tucson 12/24/2002

Great pizza and very friendly staff and great service. One thing they don't do is be cheap on the amount of toppings they put on the pies but its certainly not the cheapest in town but worth it. Pros: pizza, pastas, service Cons: no beer more

Picurro's simply said is the best Pizza in Tucson . . . I have bought Pizza from just about every Pizza place in town, and I while I have enjoyed most of them (except for Papa John's it barely is better than a frozen pizza) I have to say Picurro's Pizza has them all beat . . . more
