you get what you pay for 12/7/2012

Ive been here at this gym for years. Whatever complains I've had, the employees have addressed and taken care of. I have been able to work out with the class or by myself without any problems. It's been open 24/7, which is convenient for me. And I have enjoyed new friends at the gym. Bottom line It's a great place at an affordable price and convenient. more

This place used to be great know its like they are money hungry, I've been a member for a long time and it has change for the better and for the worst. Some employee think his can do what he pleases and does not explain things well whem asked a question. And also I never see him on the floor helpin nor cleaning, or checking for people who just go sit on benches or machines and talk. more

Do not enroll, cause they will always come after you with the so called binding contract. They advertise that there is no contract and cancel anytime, NOT TRUE. GHETTO GYM . more

It is hard to beat the pharr gym. They got everything. I've been a member for alot of years. They are always updating their equipment and their facility. They have people hired to clean the facility and other people hired to clean the equipment. I never have to wait to get on the machines. I've been paying $20 a month for years and according to my contract they cannot raise that price. And if I want to stop going all I have to do is pay a small cancelation fee. Its great! No other gym does that. more

I've been a member for a long time. They have everything, all new equipment, sauna, etc. Can you believe I'm only paying $10 per month and I can cancel anytime I like by just paying a small cancelation fee. You can't beat the Pharr Gym. Other gyms make you pay until you pay off your contract. more

Pharr Gym. 4/11/2006

I used to attend this gym. Pharr gym is located off of the expressway on the west side of Pharr. The gym is descent. Some of the equipment is old and dated. Some of the equipment has been out of order for a long period of time. On the plus side, the gym is small and it never becomes overly packed. The membership is low and if you arent looking for anything fancy then this is a good gym. This gym has alot to offer to the individual who can independently workout and gain from traditional equipment. more

A Place To Work Out 8/6/2005

This another gym that I used to frequent. It is off the expressway and is conveniently located. It is a smaller gym for people who want a little more privacy with their work outs. They offer weights and aerobics. My friend and I used to go there to work with the free weights that they have there. It is a friendly and energetic atmosphere. You can listen to music as you work out in a great environment. Their staff is great too. more
