Petland Terre Haute

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased the ""lifetime warranty from them and now I drive up and the store is emptied and the phone number canceled. The franchise computers plus tells me they sold it to a Brady McGee in August of 2009 and I need to contact him to get my money back, but no contact information was given. I purchased the plan with Computers Plus, in the Terre Haute Computers Plus store because it was a well known franchise and not a store that would just close down in a year. Who is this person? If anyone knows please reply. Have I been robbed of my 400.00? Computers Plus said they do not recognize any warranty purchased through that store and will not honor it. more

My entire experience with this store has been a nightmare- one that ended with me being $2000 poorer and without a computer. The details are irrelevant and would take way too long to type, but i was sold a FAULTY machine for an inflated price, along with a $300 service plan that could literallly do NOTHING for me. not even unfreeze my computer. I was told the only thing i could to do get my computer serviced was drive to a authorized servicer in Indianapolis where i would be expected to pay full price. again, my $300 service plan did NOTHING. Mind you, i paid nearly $2000 for this computer and got a mere three weeks of use out of it before it started having serious problems that rendered it useless. The employees lied to my face on several occasions about the specifications of my computer and about the problems it was having. On top of that, they are all rude and cocky. I could not imagine a worse computer-buying experience. please, do not let these scam artists take your hard earned money. if i could give this store a negative-star rating, i would.
