Facebook posted one of their posts on my feed about puppies available. So I asked them in the tread if they were adoptables from a shelter or puppy mill. The location in East Liberty hosts dogs from local shelters. They blocked and banned me from their site instead of just answering the question. Very rude. I would suggest going to the East Liberty location or your local shelter. Sorry Monroeville location but your rudeness has put me off. more

Shopping at Petland = Supporting Animal Abuse 4/24/2010

I am frankly surprised any Petland stores could still be in business. The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) has exposed that Petland obtains their puppies from abusive puppy mills. Purchasing anything at Petland is giving money to support the perpetuation of heinous animal cruelty. You can find information on this easily from trustworthy sources by searching the internet. Petland Pittsburgh Monroeville Sold Us A Deathly Sick Puppy 3/12/2009

My son purchased a new puppy on March 1, 2009, She was in the Hospital by March 5, 2009, and She died in the early a.m. Sunday/Monday. We were broken hearted. They do not admit to selling her sick, we have four MVD's that have put it in writing. They knowingly sold her sick, and they have yet to respond, or offer any sympathy. Our puppy was infectious, and they haven't tested any of the puppies. We have all of the documentation. Say no to Petland! Cons: Sell Sick Puppies, The Owner Does Not Respond more
