Dont waste your time 7/30/2011

I live right next to this store literally I could hit it with a rock if I threw it hard enough. I have been to this store many times in the last 10 years for various things, non living an never for food for my 3 dogs an never again to stock a thing in any of my many many aquariums. The main reason is because everything I have bought from this petco for my tanks has either died (even plants) in a few days or got my other fish sick. \r \r If you go to this store you should expect the employees to avoid you . Its funny to me because they act like they are looking for some one to help but if they see you looking for help they will immediately turn around an walk the other way if you corner one they will most likely not know anything about fish or the other pets they sale. One lady in there is high on crystal meth or cocaine I have seen her the last 3 times I went price shopping for new aquarium tanks. I know because I work in drug rehabilitation. FREE puppy class is great! 1/4/2011

Jeanette (current dog trainer) offers FREE puppy socialization hour on Sunday as long as your pup has had it's shots. Been going for quite awhile, and I have to commend her for a wider base of knowledge then most 'trainers' I've met in the dog world. Would recommend her for most behaviors than need correction - and certainly for puppy socialization. Really awesome hour. A big thank you to her! more

Don't get your pal groomed here unless you like blood! 10/23/2008

Had been here previously and was satisfied with the grooming results. However, today our pup came home bleeding all over the carpet, floors, and us. One nail was clipped RIDICULOUSLY short, very far into the quick, and the poor pup bled for almost half an hour. Helen Keller could have made a better nail cut than our "professional" groomer did. Needless to say, we will be making the extra effort to take her to PetSmart or somewhere else in the future. more

Uneducated Staff 6/7/2008

I have many reptiles and I was really shocked to overhear and be personally told that you do not need a certain items for these animals. If I listened to this manager, ( tall blond with glasses ) my lizards would be DEAD NOW ! If this particular person gives you advise, ask some one else! I can only imagine how many reptiles died because of this idiot. They need to be more educated before trying to educate anyone else . more

Here's a store right near my house, but I prefer Petsmart over Petco. I know many Petsmart has many rude or inexperienced workers but they have larger stores with wider selections. Petco doesn't have much stuff for fish, which is my main reason for going to a pet store in the first place. The prices here aren't that great either but if you need something there and now, this place isn't that bad. I'd say it's okay. more
