You will get swindled and scammed!!!\r \r Worst customer service I've ever encountered. I walked in the store the the other day and was completely ignored even though I was the only customer in the store. After standing in front of two workers who were having a non sequitur conversation for a few minutes, I asked if one of them could help me, I was told to hold on, while they continued to joke around. And when I finally did get someone to help me, I was treated like a criminal (thanks owners daughter, you sure know how to treat a customer).\r \r On top of that, all their products are way over priced, easily marked up twice its retail value! Who wants to overpay for terrible service, because I sure don't. I will never shop there again. more

Very poor customer service. Do not call on phone, the act like you inconvenience them in shopping there and calling them. SHOP FOR YOUR GUNS AND AMMO SOMEWHERE ELSE. \r more

Visited store yesterday, noticed right away that the prices on scopes and ammo where outrages. Went to trade a gun for another and pay difference, did not recieve customer service that i've had with other gun shops. Employees or owner was rude, didn't care about my business and tried to rush me with purchase and to get out of the door, started cutting lights off while i in the process of purchase. Will not visit this store again and will piont friends and relatives in a different direction. Don't waste your time or gas. more

I am somewhat glad to hear I am not the only one who found them quite rude. I certainly did not receive ""any"" hospitality and if it is advertised, that is false advertisement. The woman at the register turned around when my elderly mother said hello as if she did not want us there .The gentleman, that showed me where the gun I was shopping for was located, almost ran to get away from my family and me. I refused to stay a minute after that and definitely was not going to spend my money and beg them to service me, too. more

As posted on google too. I purchased a firearm there and know I paid about 100 more than comparable prices, but I was trying to establish a relationship with a dealer. Plus, they wouldn't budge at all on price. When I went back to purchase another firearm, I questioned price this time citing local shops whom were anywhere from $50 - $75 less. I promptly received a lecture from barry perry himself on how he was there to sell firearms. Umm, ok, I thought I was there to buy firearms. I got a lecture on how he is most excellent because he is the only dealer apparently in the world who is factory direct yada yada and how he goes for quantity over price yada yada b/c apparently all manufacturers are at capacity yada yada spread the hype to try and sell guns. The most amazing thing was how he said he may work on price with loyal customers. Ok, riddle me this, how do you get a loyal customer if you put off your new customers by talking down to them and over charging them? You get loyal customers by fair prices and quality service. I received neither at perry's and thus won't be going back. It is funny because I just received a $6200 dollar settlement of which I wanted to use to expand my firearms collection. Not at perry's. Did not recieve hometown hospitality like advertised. The people seemed put out by having to wait on us .The gentelman that waited on my son said a total of two words to him we felt like we were wasteing his time and we were greeted at the door with we close in 30 min. I like shopping at Perry's. The guys are friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that bugs me about Perry's is their ammunition prices are crazy. WWB is twice the price as at Wally world. I know they need to make a profit, but seriously their ammo prices are ridiculous. The gun prices are in line, and I have bought a couple from them. Excellent customer service. I was greeted when I walked in and received immediate attention from their extremely knowledgeable staff. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and walked out with a greater understanding of what I needed for my application. Staff were eager to help me find what I wanted quickly, but invited me to stay and look around. They gladly answered all of my many questions without getting impatient or annoyed. more

Barry Perry is very knowledgeable about guns and does not mind taking the time to talk about your needs. He sometimes gets some fantastic deals and is worht the trip from Cary. Will buy there again. more

I have shopped here many times and have spent alot of money with Perry's in the past, but due to many recent frustrations with this company , I will not be spending any more money here. more

I've been buying guns for 30 years and haven't found anyone that gives better service than Perry's. If they don't have what you want in stock, they'll have it in less than 3 days. can't beat that. I was impressed with how much Barry's daughter know about AR platform rifles and ammo. Just good folks. Look for Hannah or Mike. more

WOW I was shocked reading some of the negative reviews. I bought my first safe from Perry's ..ouch so long ago I forgot! Maybe 18 years ago. Also purchased some firearms in that period. Due to work I moved away. Came back to the area last year. Been a regular since! Friendly staff taht assist when needed.\r \r As Arnold says " I'll be back" !!! more

I have bought guns and a safe from Perry's. Service...great. I am a female shooter and they treat me as a shooter, not a female. Safe shopping experience...well..selection was almost to much. I was taken back to the wharehouse and there were tons of safes! I looked at many safes at several places. Went back to Perry's and struck a deal on a Liberty. Set and delivery went off without a hitch. Yes, I love my Libery safe! \r more

I was looking for two popular handguns. I checked 6 shops total in the area. Perry's was the lowest priced shop on both guns. Not only were they the least expensive, but customer service was nothing less than outstanding. The staff was friendly, and yes, get ready, knew the product. I was in the shop about a 1/2 hour before closing on a weekday. Now I'm sure they get busy on the weekends and you might have to wait, but be assured that when it's your turn you will get the sales staff's undivided attention until they complete the transaction. Congratulations to the women and men of Perry's Gun Shop for making my experience a great one. I'll definitely be back. more

Avoid this gunshop. The owner is more into bragging about his wholesale volume in sales than he is in customer serverice. They will take advantage of you at every turn. Yes the shop has been around for a while but that does not mean Jack! Saw some things that should not be sold to the public some years ago and if you are not careful they will try pass it off on you. Perry's is mixed, sometimes has a great selection but usually price isn't as good. Carries a decent selection of safes. Reasonable selection of accessories, as well. more

An old Wendell business, Perry's should be on the list for any gun enthusiast or hunter. They have a large selection of shotguns, rifles, hunting apparel and handguns and ammo. They also aid customers in learning how to handle and care for their guns. more
