As a driver of a high performance car, I would give an unqualified recommendation. 9/16/2011

Overall Performing Imports is a 5. I have to qualify why I gave them a 4 for recommending them, and it's only because you have to be the right kind of customer before I would recommend them. Their work is excellent, they have very hands-on, personalized service, and all of their people are high-grade. I drive an M5 and they let me go back and take a look at the car while it's on the rack, and they have been very good about that. The only squawk I have ever had in the whole history of my dealings with them was that I did feel that after paying $278 for an oil change the price was awfully high, and I've talked with them about it. So, as a driver of a high performance car, I would give an unqualified recommendation to other high performance car drivers. more

Quality work! 8/17/2011

Someone had referred me to Performing Imports a few years back, and I had talked to Ron about my car over the last couple of years, but just recently decided to take it in. I took my 2001 540i into them and they made it run like a brand new car! They are well-known in the area and nationally for working with BMWs. They are professional and do quality work. Ron and Team: Thx for your excellent service, attention to detail, and pain staking patience explaining the trasformations underwent by my car. I now enjoy one fast 550i thx to you. Engine shift points are better, smoothness between shifts is awesome, and no more "bronco" like jerks. Next on my list: Dinan Stage 2 Suspension, Carbon Fiber Front Strut Tower Brace, and a DINAN BADGE with S2 serial to go along! more

Best BMW Shop in Atlanta 7/18/2011

Performing Imports has been taking care of my 530i and my wife's 525it wagon for years. Both of our cars have over 100K miles and drive like new. Ron and his staff are extremely honest and knowledgeable. This is an extremely clean facility and is convenient to North Fulton area. I highly recommend. They are not cheap, but they are a much better value than a BMW dealer - and they are much more knowledgeable! Bill Lasseigne more

Ron gives recommendations and lays out all of the options for his customers! 6/16/2011

Ron from Performing Imports is extremely knowledgeable. I've been bringing my BMW's to him for about ten years now. There have been a couple of stumper issues and he's great at troubleshooting to get to the root cause of the problem. Ron operates on a customer incentive approach, he diagnoses the issue, then gives the customer complete control over which option to choose, as opposed to giving only one option that will cost me ten grand or else my car will explode! I don't think that he'd be in a position to do that except that he and his entire staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Most knowledgeable about BMW's in the area, which helps them to stay in a uniques position. Plus, he does quality work. I've never had an issue where I've had to bring my car back to him because I wasn't satisfied with how it was repaired. I highly recommend his shop! Paul Hebermehl more
