Truly Awful Service. I had my Audi A6 brought in to Performance by a recommendation from my insurance company. The long story short is that I've been called in 3 times that my car is ready and it isn't. They have damaged my car 3 different times now and will not take responsibility. It's been 6 weeks and nothing but headaches from them. more

I had my 2000 Chev. Blazer repaired for front end work, and when I brought in the car they gave me an estimate but didn't give me a WRITTEN estimate. ??? Why would ANYONE take a car to someone without getting a written estimate? When I asked for one they looked at me like I was crazy. Then, the car was not ready when promised and I DID NOT GET A CALL ABOUT IT! They only told me when I came in to pick it up. I had made an appointment, came in early to drop off, and they did not even START on it until around 3pm. Guy said the night shift would finish it and be ready in the morning. I was really really irritated (I'd like to use another word, but this is a family site). THEN when I finally did pick it up, they added a $35 ""shop fee"" to the bill. I had to do battle with them for 45 minutes to get it removed. The fee was not on the original estimate (THIS is why you get a written estimate). What a gargantuan pain in the arse. Never again with these guys. I just had the feeling I was just another mindless customer that would roll over for being treated like a slug. more

Worth a visit if you're shopping for a new/used car 2/22/2012

Outside of Saturn, which is now defunct, going into a dealership is stressful. It's much the same here... expect the usual tricks: they'll try to put you into any car they can, make sure that it is over your budget and they'll make you spend a lot of time on the couch waiting for them to get more information. However, they do have a good vehicle selection, their cars have been thoroughly checked out by their reputable service department, and they've got a great sales guy named Harvey. He heard what I was telling him and then searched for the right vehicle for me and then called me immediately when it became available. Just be prepared... car buying from a dealership requires that you set limits for yourself and let them know the limits. Don't limit yourself to one vehicle or one dealer or you will quickly find yourself paying too much for a car that you really don't want. I would like to report that I got a car I love at a price that was fair. They even threw in 6 free synthetic oil-change serving's. My advice is that if you are shopping for a new/used car, make sure that Performance is one of your options. more

I purchased my Cheverolet HHR from Performance Cheverolet 2 plus years ago and have been taking it back for regular service appointments ever since. The car runs beautifully and I have had no problems. The folks there are always courteous and helpful. I would recommend them. more

After sale communications are industry worst 12/11/2011

Purchase process ok, about average. After the sale, however, dealership doesn't like to communicate at all. Have sent numerous emails and left numerous phone messages, yet not a single person at the dealership has responded. Service department is very weak at best, and I wound up visiting a dealership in a different city. Could go on for hours, but basically this is not a dealership I would want to business with again. more

\r 2-08-2012\r I would like to let everyone know that Performance service is the best I have ever dealt with. I recently bought a new car there and I had a good experience all the way through. I had to bring it in to have some kinks worked out 3 or 4 times.There were no questions asked and everything was done in a timely manner. I would like to recognize Darryl Watkins for a job well done. He kept me up to date with the progress and it truly made a difference to be treated with respect. I didn't feel like ""a number"".... Thanks! more

New car and great service 10/16/2011

Bought our new 2011 Subaru Outback and it is awesome, we love it.. Have had it back for 1st oil change and ck up, on the house, and the service dept was quick & efficient. We did use the shuttle and it was also efficient & got us to our appt in plenty of time. We've started taking our Chev Taho w/ 100 k miles on it there for service since we don't trust many to work on it.. It runs better than ever and they brought it back to us washed and ready to go. John Overton was a great salesman and we'd advise anyone to ck w/ him if they are looking or even thinking Subaru.. The service guys have also been awesome from the moment we walk in to the moment we drive away... Check them out, we're glad we did!!! more

Great place for an oil change 8/10/2011

I've been getting my 2003 Chevy Cavalier serviced at this location for years. The last time I got my oil changed I managed to get a same day appointment.\r The staff is friendly and very professional!\r \r One of the best things about Performance Chevrolet is that they don't pressure you to spend more money. At other places, I was always pressured to ""fix"" something unrelated to the oil change. They don't do that at Performance Chevrolet. You're in and out in less than an hour. I also appreciate the great coupons that come in the mail every month. I have saved a lot of money over the years. more

Best Price Oil Change 7/18/2011

My car needed an oil change and Performance Chevrolet got me right in on a Saturday. It was my first time there but I'll be going back when my car is due for another change. The service team was professional, nice, and did not try to upsell any over priced ""extras""... and they only charged me $19.95 (+tax)! They told me they're always running some sort of special and that you can find some deals posted on their website. Oh, and I think they ran my car through a wash or something! It was much shinier than when I left it there. Just for the record, I wouldn't expect the same free wash everytime though, maybe they washed it on accident!? I would recommend them for an oil change and hope you get the same service I got. Good Luck! more

I can't say enough good things about Performance Chevrolet. In 2008 I leased a new Malibu. The sales department was so easy to work with, and the service department took great care of my vehicle always treating me with kindness and respect. Performance Porsche Best Service in Triangle 6/25/2011

I had a problem with my 2009 Cayman which is under warranty. The guys in Cary gave me the usual ""They all do that"" line and refused to even look at the loose seat. I asked them for a number for Porsche NA. I called and reported the issue and a fews days later got a call from Porsche during which they just repeated what the Service Advisor in Cary told them about the situation. Then I called Performance. They didn't seemed very surprised about what I had gone through in Cary and wanted to fix my car. They performed the repair with no BS from Porsche NA. They have all my service from now on with this Porsche and the ones to come. I hate to say this but Performance deserves my business and I recommend not wasting your time in Cary. The level of professionalism is night and day between Cary and Performance in Chapel Hill. I didn't mind driving a Panamera for 3 days at all. more
