Perfect Manners Dog Training

We recently added a new puppy to our household - a golden retriever named Jake. It was obvious that Jake was a great dog with even greater potential and we felt that it was our responsibility to give Jake every opportunity to become the best dog he can be. I heard about Patti and Perfect Manners through the breeder. I called them specifically to schedule training and to inquire about crate training, which was not going well. I began with my frustration with crate training. Pam was so kind and offered suggestions that might make things easier on everyone - especially Jake. She spent almost 30 minutes on the phone answering questions, finding solutions and showing me a different way to approach the training. I did what she suggested and everything began to work out. By the way, Pam spoke with me without asking for my credit card number. With Pam's kindness and the breeders recommendation I knew that this was the place for Jake. I scheduled an appointment with Patti and she did not disappoint. She spent an hour sharing her knowledge of dogs and talking about different training approaches. She has a pleasant personality which our dogs picked up on right away. We have scheduled three more classes with Patti and know that Jake is in good hands. My goal is to train him as a comfort therapy dog. I am confident that I have found the "perfect" team to help me achieve this goal. more

Patti was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. She was able to pinpoint all the issues we were having with our puppy right away. We signed up for 3 additional lessons after the first and look forward to seeing more improvement! more

Patti had the first session with our new pup and it was an immediate success. Her ability to control our excitable young dog was amazing. We’re expecting our first child and wanted to make sure our puppy was ready and safe for our new addition. The perfect manners trainer was so helpful and in a short amount of time equipped us with a lot of advice and tools that have improved my dogs behavior already. Really is, thanks to Sandy's help! Your educating me has really help me provide Danny the environment he can relax and thrive in. It's been great seeing him so happy and relaxed. We met with Patti to work with our dog who as a rescue hasn't learned his manners. She did a wonderful job putting us at ease and putting Angus through his paces. Great feedback and tips and a well understood and love of dogs was quite evident. This was our second go around with a trainer and our experience with Perfect Manners was well worth the time and expense. Highly recommended!! more

After just one session we had a new (still not perfect) but much much more under control puppy. We continue to use the suggestions which were discussed and he changes and grows better daily. Couldn't be happier. Will be ready for round two soon! more

We did our first training class with Patti and it went great! She quickly was able to give us pointers and helpful ideas to train our Pitbull mix. I'm a skeptic. But I figured it was worth one session to see if Perfect Manners Dog Training was even half as good as my neighbors told me. Wow! I was amazed. The trainer had my dog Snickers following his every command. Maybe my trainer (Sandy) was the exception but this guy knew his stuff. He was like a dog translator that actually seemed to talk to Snickers and even better, my dog finally seemed to understand. Forget about Casar Milan. This Sandy guy is a miracle worker. He even made the training fun for our whole family because he's even funny too. Best of all, Snickers is now the dog we've always dreamed of. more

I have a 10 month old Schnauzer, and like most boys is very hard headed. I was about to give up and give my little bundle away.
