I am really surprised by how much I loved the Peppermill. The decor, pictured on their website, is not my style. Mirrored ceilings and track lighting are two things I do not see everyday. In the context of a casino, it really worked. The rooms were clean and the tub was the largest I have ever seen! The staff was also great. I loved my business trip to the Peppermill. My fiancee and I booked another night to go back in a few weeks. It is not the Ritz, but it is unique and wonderful in its own way. I give it a 10! I stayed at the Peppermill for Valentine's Day last year, and have gone back at least 10 times after that. It is the only place I will stay in Reno now. I love it. The rooms are huge, the suites are wonderful, the service is great, and the restaurants are stunning. What else can I say? Pros: Great Service, Big Rooms, Friendly Dealers Cons: A little cramped, A little stuffy/smoky, Lodge Rooms more

I'm a long time Vegas regular who just recently had business in Reno. Stayed at the Peppermill on a recommendation. Wow!! Rooms a notch above most Strip hotels, with good size, well stocked, very clean and great views of Reno! Buffet very good, I'd put it with top 10% of Vegas. Great casino with good slot selection, great table action for Blackjack players! Best dealers and floor people I've been around anywhere! Overall Hotel and casino service the best I've seen! We just cancelled our August Vegas Reservations and booked 4 nights at Peppermill. Extra drive is worth it! And I didn't even win!!! Pros: Good value, Great service, Easy comps Cons: Casino smoky, Casino can crowd more

I just returned home from my first visit to the Peppermill and it won't be the last. I usually stay downtown and at first was apprehensive. I have to say it was the best choice I have made. I can certainly see why the Peppermill has been voted best in so many categories. From great rooms to fantastic dining and great slots. With that all said, the thing that topped off my stay was the fabulous service by the empoyees. I highly recommend this fine establishment when staying in Reno. Pros: Rooms, Food, Gaming more
