i went for subwoofer and amp installation ... first they told me they will charge 69.99 + tax and when they analyze my car they made a total of 148. i asked them and they said you car needs adapter .., need more wiring etc .. alrite as i already buy the sub and amp i need to installl it ....then i was ready to pay for it as i have no other choice ... alrite now they hooked up everything and told me stereo is not working ..i said how it is possible .... when i dropped the car it was working before .... they told me radio is not working ... i fight with them ...i said you guys made my stereo is damage as it was working before... i talked to manager ... and he was even more horrible .. he was always in favor of mehanic he was not even listening to me.... and i said you know what i dont want the system and you take it.... they were ready to take it ... but still charging for the labor they spent on working which was 148 .... i got really boiled i saild if its not working why should i have more

Don't go to PEPBOYS on Stelton road, they are horrible, always try to rob the customers and they are irresponsible, not polite with customers, careless sick people, they won't rely on word.....always try to rob customers money.....won't deliver on time....they try to give less quote in the beginning and then they will call and tell that lots of defects in car and then give high price quote.....Very bad place...please don't spoil your car. more

I went to Pep Boys because my battery and my brake light were blinking. I asked them to diagnose the fault and change the oil as well. They informed me it was the alternater, and that the serpentine belt as well as the tensioner needed to be replaced. I authorized the work, and a day later picked up my car, only to find that the battery light and brake light were still blinking! Being that I needed my car for work I felt that I would just bring it back in a week or so. Turns out the car didn't wait that long. My battery had stopped taking a charge so after two tows to this place plus the cost of uneccessary previous repairs it turns out my only problem was a bad battery. They cost my a considerable amount of money due to a misdiagnosis and a technician who was just trying to fill his hours at my exspense! Thanks for robbing me of a much needed 400.00. After all was said and done it cost 565.00 all together, when all I needed in the first place was a battery. The technicians also got oily hand prints all over my cars doors windows and steering wheel! They didn't even wipe down the car when they were done, and never test drove it to see if they had actually repaired the vehicle in the first place. I will never go back and recommend everyone else find a different shop as well. Feeling cheated and mad. more

never go this store..there were all big cheats...Dont waste your money..I have been there to fix headlights,they charged me 300$..just imagine... more

Had oil and tires changed. Good job with service on the car. However, I was chargewd twice and it took me 5 visits back ot that place to get any sort of assurance that one of the charges will be returned back. I have to make one more trip get the money (hopefully the last one). So, great job along as everythign is fine. But god save you if anything goes wrong. Its not easy to get stuff back. more
