My children have attended Peak 6/3/2012

My children have attended Peak Athletics for about 7 years now. Not only have they gone through the recreational program there but they have also started on competitive teams. The thing about GOOD coaching is that they PUSH your children. I think that most of the people that say they have had bad experiences with coaches just don't have thick skin whatsoever. The best coaches are the ones who are tough, hard, and have discipline. They produce the BEST athletes. I find it hard to believe that most people have had such a bad experience at this facility. I have not one time in my seven years there have seen any rudeness in any of the employees there. Everyone that works there seems to love their job and are very helpful no matter what the situation is. I highly recommend this facility to anyone and everyone. I love the owners, the general manager, and especially the front desk staff! Peak has really found a great set of people that are amazing with customer service. BRAVO PEAK! I will be there until my kids are no longer in the age range you offer! more

My daughter Taylor has been invovled in 4/6/2012

My daughter Taylor has been invovled in Dance for 4 years now and I love the direction Peak is going with their program. Nicole has been wonderful to work with and my daughter has learned such great technique from Ingrid. Her team coaches, Vanessa, Tori, and Kristen for hip hop and pom are outstanding and have really pushed Taylor this year. I am excited for the team developments for the upcoming season and can't wait to see what Peak has in store! more

My Daughter has been involved with the 4/6/2012

My Daughter has been involved with the Cheer program at Peak Athletics for 2 years now and I must say I can not be any happier with the success she has had in their program. She loves her coaches Chelsea, Theresa, and Courtney and loves the commitment they bring to their team and dedication. Hands down, no program within the state shows as well as Peak and I am very thankful for all Peak has done for her. more

not my pick 6/12/2009

My child took a trial class at this gym, and here are the good and bad points from my only visit:\r \r 1) The lady at the front desk (Ela) was nice, & got me signed up for the clsss I wanted at a time that would work for me. Trial class was free. Suggestion - none\r \r 2) The coach was nice to both me and my son. My son (age 5) was challenged, but also was able to do some basic skills. Class was ""fun"". Suggestion - none. This was great!\r \r 3) The manager (no name badge) was insulting, didn't know her product and wasn't interested in helping me. She was confronting an employee on the floor while I was there, embarassing everyone around her. This was a short & pregnant woman - mid 30's with dark hair. Suggestion - keep this person from the public eye!\r \r 4) They have a coffee bar, but it isn't open in the daytime. The menu looks OK, prices are fair and there are vending machines available. Suggestion - Maybe they could add a vending machine for cold items, and a microwave for customers to use.\r \r 5) Their store area had leotards for the girls, but nothing for boys, and was almost empty. Racks in aisle were empty and lacking signage. Suggestion - stock some merchandise for boys - and for everyone - or close the shop and use this for offices. \r \r 6) Follow up was not done. I left, and the ladies at the desk were busy (swamped), so nobody said anything to me on the way out. One week later, I still haven't gotten a call (yes, they have my phone, and e-mail and mailing address) Suggestion - call or send an e-mail, and hire some help for the registration desk, or have some duties reassigned.\r \r 7) Facility was generally clean and neat. Offered free popcorn & coffee while we waited (nice touch). Bathrooms were nice, clean and tasteful. Parking lot was clean. Building was a little tattered, with insulation hanging out. Glass could be cleaned, both inside & out. Sidewalks were in ned of repair, especially on East side. Suggestion - housekeeping staff is OK, but maintenance of facility needs halp. Contact landlord & report facility issues.\r \r 8) Initial phone contact was helpful and friendly. Dianne was polite and very agreeable. Suggestion - none.\r \r 9) Web site was attractive, simple and useable BUT information was out of date, frequent typographical errors and dead links. No ability to enroll on-line (minor), no ability to pay on-line (minor) and course descriptions were ""sketchy"" and incomplete. Suggestion - spend some time on the content, have it proofed and get it working.\r \r 10) Will I return? Probably not. Rude manager, poor follow-up and abysmal product selection. Pros: clean, good coaches, nice facility Cons: not friendly manager more
