I as well can't believe the emails from anyone with these type of complaints.... Pros: Wonderful Wonderful School

Worst

I would not recommend this daycare. They keep saying they are the best prep school but nothing more than an expensive daycare that can't complete simple tasks.\r \r Mexican lead...

Can't Believe IT....!! 7/9/2010

I as well can't believe the emails from anyone with these type of complaints.... Pros: Wonderful Wonderful School more

THANKS FOR SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SCHOOL! 7/9/2010

Just like the other email - I cannot believe that anyone would have anything critical to say about this school. I have had an over 10 year relationship with this school and it has been amazing! The teachers are awesome - are you kidding about their qualifications....just walk into that school any day and see the ""writing"" on the wall literally !!!!!!! Also - their qualifications are an OPEN BOOK, just ask them OR ask the owner.....it's amazing that people are allowed to just get on blogs and make false statements.... The love and dedication that absolutely oozes from everyone from Ms. Kay/Ms. Mickie & Ms. Cyndi (I have attended both schools throughout the 10 years) and all the teachers is incredible. ALL the SPECIAL touches these ladies from top to bottom put into EVERYTHING they do not only for the students but also for the parents is beyond customer service. I'm sure that there have been adults throughout the years that might have a critical statement to make, maybe due to being told again and again that they need to follow rules that are TOTALLY explained at enrollment - but I for one am glad that a school of this caliber stands by the integrity of their school and rules - this is what makes and sustains the great reputation that Peachtree Park Prep enjoys and has established with private and public schools in the area and families in the community.....THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT SCHOOL - keep up the FANTASTIC JOB !!!! Pros: Teacher Qualifications, Outstanding Academics, Lots of FUN more

Wonderful! 5/15/2010

While on Citysearch I stumbled upon these reviews and was shocked to see the negative comments. I am a PPP Parent and have had nothing but positive experiences. They are very advanced as far as academics, the School is extremely clean and they offer so many extra activites that create a fun environment for the Children to learn and play in. Sure there are some Spanish speaking Employees (as mentioned in another review) but once you take the time to know them, you may be surprised at the many other things they can offer your Child. I consider our PPP experience a blessing, I havent found anything comparable... worth every penny!! Pros: Curriculum, Extra Activities Cons: Higher tuition more

takes a while to get the real picture 3/11/2010

Interesting to read the reviews. I would have rated it 5 stars with only positive comments up until the last 6 months or so of my child's time there. academically, it is very good and the facility is quite impressive and spacious, even for an adult. You pay for it, but your child will essentially be a full academic year ahead of public school. the lead teachers are pretty much all very good. the assistant teachers are very questionable and i wondered about several of them as far as legal status in the country but I'm probably not being very politically correct to say that. (the playing a tape for the story book comment someone else made is true) they were nice though, just not capable of having a conversation with an adult. As far as the owner, well let's just say you should get to know a lot of the parents there as well as personally know the lead teachers and you will get some good insight. the 2 ""best"" spots the owner parked in used to be handicap spaces - not sure if they still are. but hey, if you own the place you can do whatever you want. if you can avoid dealing with her, suggest that approach. they have apparently lost a lot of kids due to an inability to provide any good level of customer service from what I have heard. don't try to cross them on the dress code or your child may suffer for it as I ended up hearing from a teacher there. stay on top of your bill! shop around Pros: great facility, advanced academics, pre-k graduation, gym Cons: owner/admin, elitist, food, price, dress code, asst teachers more

Worst daycare that not worth the money 12/4/2009

I would not recommend this daycare. They keep saying they are the best prep school but nothing more than an expensive daycare that can't complete simple tasks.\r \r Mexican lead teachers can't hardly read so they use audio tape and hold the book with a stick for kids to follow. The Spanish teacher speak nada or zero English so I guess she does qualify to teach Spanish but kids can't understand her. All other lead teachers are high school drop out single mothers that simply don't qualify to teach. Please save your money and find a daycare that truely care about your kids and not just for your hard earn money. Pros: Floor is not sticky Cons: Need to fix the toilet covers more

Absolutely the worst 12/3/2009

I had complaint to the owner several times in regards to teachers inability and bad attitues. She said"" You need to get this stright. This is my center and you are only allow to suggest and in no position to evaluate my teachers"". So she does nothing so we left. If you really care about your child/children please don't take them to this place. It is all about their profit and thought by having uniforms make them like Creme dela Creme(good try and more profit). more

The best place for your kids 12/2/2009

PPP has the best staff--they love to babysit as well! I always have a great feeling when my daughter runs into the school each morning. She even wants to go to school on the weekend! My daughter did a Spring Musical this year and made her own costume, learned songs, it was just so cute! I cannot wait for our Pre-K graduation--they do it at a private club and they even wear caps & gowns! We have a family holiday party coming up and Santa is coming--we do our Christmas card pictures every year with their realistic santa and I avoid the long lines at the mall santa. I just love everything they do--they just think of everything! Pros: The staff, the curriculum, the parties, more

The best of the best! 11/24/2009

My son loves his teachers & he learned to read so early! Unlike our old school, the owner and director are very accommodating about switching our part time days around--there is so much fun things going one we can't decide which days to attend! Pros: abilitiy to switch part time days around and makeup days Cons: can't think of any more

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! 11/24/2009

I have had my 3 kids go through the school and everyone from the owner to the director to the teachers they have are award winning! As the only private preschool I know of in the area everything they do is of the highest caliber and thank goodness I found a school that puts my kids first! You won't find anything better! Pros: Great teachers--Great school!! Cons: I only wish they went higher than 1st grade! more

The most unprofessional and nasty busines owner 10/11/2009

The facts (the top 3 from my long list):\r 1. What business owner save the two best parking spaces for herself instead for mother of two infants or customers? That is right. It is the owner of Peachtree Park Prep, Kay!! Congrats! \r 2. I guess they can't find time or know how to fix kid's locker door knobs. It was broken from day one until my kids last day there!!\r 3. You bet the turnover rates are low. It is because their lead teachers are high school drop outs and hair dressers. They rather yell at the little kids than get yell at working at McDonalds or JC Pennys!!\r \r You must be stupid to think if they don't respect parents/customers and they will treat your son/daughter with any respect!! Pros: Expensive Cons: Your kids are good as dogs more

Best Daycare Going 5/12/2008

We sent our two children to the Peachtree Park Prep on Ventana in Alpharetta/Duluth. This is the best school going. We unfortuantely moved and have not found an institution that can come close to Peachtree Park Prep. It is on the expensive side but worth every penny. The academics are excellent from Spanish, computer, art, and music to writing and reading starting at three. The children also stand in circle time and address their classmates by saying good morning and spelling their name. Fantastic early learning for public speaking. The teachers and director are engaging and always available. \r \r I must point out that I have witnessed first hand what it means to have an educational facility cater to the parents whims, it creates chaos and disorder. The school has rigid rules to ensure that every child (and parent) is treated equally and every rule is reasonable and there for a reason. If you want to go to a school where the parents dictate the rules according to their own personal wishes - this is not the place for you. This school strives for discipline, education, and fun for the children. \r \r If you want a center to cater to your every whim, maybe you shoud check out Bright Horizons. They are there for the money and not the best interest of the children or teachers. Pros: Excellent academics, low teacher turnover Cons: A bit pricey more

Would NOT recommend 1/22/2008

I would NOT send my kids back to this school. They are unreasonably inflexible and it is very, very expensive. Thay have a ""my way or the highway"" attitude. They forget we are the customers and the customer is always right. more

Loved it! 4/6/2006

It is very expensive, but our kids loved it! My son started there at 2 and went until Kg; my daughter started at 2 as well. The staff is great, the director Mikki is so fun and helpful, all my kids teachers except one were so loving. We hated to leave due to a move to FL. No school has compared. My kids learned a lot there, plus its the only school I know with a potty training class!!!! A++++ Pros: great education, sweet teachers, good ratios Cons: $$$$, somewhat clicky more
