Peachtree Blinds of Atlanta

Extremely poor customer no-service. Originally ordered blinds back in 2002 and they screwed up the order. Wrong type of blinds for the wrong rooms. Both sides made some reluctant concessions.\r Fast forward to 2013 and I called about some ladders (the parts that the individual blinds are supported on) that wore out and broke where they enter the head rail / top rail. I believe it's a manufacturing or design defect. Their first response is to say the manufacturer is no longer in business. I said they were in business because I was just at their web site. 'Oh' was their reply. Really! They went on to tell me that the 'soft' parts are NOT covered under the lifetime warranty and were not repairable. I would have thought for an organization that touts customer service would at least sent out their installer to see if the ladders could have been repaired enough to be usable or contact the manufacturer to see if they still had some supposed discontinued ladders in stock. Nope. In fact, they were pretty pissy about the whole process. \r \r So I decided to try and make the repairs myself. I cut 6"" of cord from the angle adjustment cords and tied in the 'new' cord where the old cord was. All works well and the repair knots are covered by the wooden panels.\r \r If only they would have taken a little interest in promoting customer service with some goodwill...they might have gotten some referrals instead of a negative review. \r \r ((( DO NOT USE PEACHTREE BLINDS ))) more

I recently had a very similar experience to the more recent reviewers here. Steve Kaplan and Peachtree Blinds took my money and has not performed. The product is garbage and I got the same line about million dollar homes (and I live in one). I am filing a lawsuit in magistrate court soon. If anyone with a similar experience would like to join forces in that action, please put a note here and I will get in touch with you ASAP. more

I am a disappointed customer. I ordered Plantation Shutters that were installed in a timely manner. However, I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the shutters. There was light coming from everywhere. The louvers will not close closely enough and I have been unable to tighten them as told. In my opinion, and others, there is too much space between the middle dividers and the louvers. However, they did correct the light that was coming in arround the frame. At night with my lights on I feel they are an eyesore. I had Planatation Shutters in a previous home and there is no comparison. I had none of these problems with the shutters I had some years ago. more

This company is rinky dink. They measured and installed my shutters for a cut out knob and then did not order the correct shutter. Instead of assuming responsibility for installing a shutter that did not allow me to open my door (knob too close to shutter) they argued. I ended up buying two new knobs with levers positioned outward in order to accomodate the shutters and paying for the knobs and their installation along with the incorrect round knob and dummy knob I was told I needed. In short, it cost me several hundred dollars to cover their mistake and alot of unneccessary time to fix their screwup. Rather than continue arguing for the amount of the 2 additional doorknobs, I said I would write this review... Cons: no accountability more

I've been very pleased with them, not just their product but with their service as well. I have 2 inch wood blinds, bamboo roman shades and 3M film on my windows. I've placed 5 different orders with them and each time I was very satisfied. They were very prompt and courteous each time. With my last order they even took the time to adjust a blind I had ordered previously and I had a question about. I'll definitely call them again with my next home. Can't go wrong with these guys. more

The blinds are very nice. The customer service was disappointing. Customer satisfaction is NOT their priority. They wouldn't honor a coupon I had, and I waited too long for the blinds. I was told they would be installed a certain day, and it was considerably later. And, even then, one blind wasn't installed. We waited about a week longer.\r DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. more
