Peabody Montessori Elementary School is run by an excellent Principal. The teachers on staff are top notch.
I really enjoy going to this school for their special programs they have. At Thanksgiving they invite the grandparents to have lunch with the children. We have one grandson attending this school so we usually try to make it there for him.
The school itself, is well kept. No would have to look hard to find a speck of trash anywhere. The hallways are, clean, and appealing. They are usually adorned with the children's art work.
I have to say in all honesty that if you walked through the door of this school you would not think it is an elementary school. There is a delicious apple pie aroma permeating throughout the entire school.
I am very impressed with this school and especially the principal for keeping things looking and running so well.
They have an awards ceremony every six weeks when reports cards go out. The honor roll students are rewarded. The kids want to make the honor roll because they know they will receive recognition.
I do wish all of our local schools would model their self after Peabody!
