Pat's Versa-Tile

I've never hired the guy and after reading the reviews, I'm not going to. The original reason I looked him up was that he just about ran me over as I was walking near the Home Depot this morning as he completely blew through the stop sign without even slowing down. Definitely not the type of person I'd want doing any work for me...and based on the other reviews, it sounds like a good decision on my part. more

Pat was a nightmare! He promised to do our job in 7 days which he did not do. He was dishonest. He would say he was coming and not show up. He had excuses... jury duty, sick, oversleeping, etc. By the time we gave up on him, it was more than a month. He left a water leak in the bathroom; took parts that we paid for; took parts he removed from our bathroom without permission and when we asked for them back, he said he threw them away. Case in point, a shower head that was brand new. Finally, Pat left the job unfinished. We hired someone else who completed the job and was shocked to learn Pat cut the backer board inside the house. He was honest, on time, fast and completed the job sooner than promised. more

pat agreed to a price to do some tile work in our home. he promised to call back the same day with a date and time, but never called and therefore never started the job. we were actually relieved in the end, because when he came to our home to give the estimate, we had an uneasy feeling about him. more

Pat had a series of excuses since he hired a poor person to do the demolition work. Then continued to have excuses for not working for two days as well as he could not finish the tile to carpet transition and it took a week to have someone come finish the job. In total, the job took 3 weeks and it should have only taken 3 - 4 days. He started avoiding my phone calls and emails because he knew he was not getting his bargain of the job completed. He said he would work overtime to get the job done early, and only worked a few extra hours on Saturday. He had too many excuses for not getting the job done on time.
