Just moved to Philly. Of course, cracked my tooth a week after I got here. Went on a local message board and was referred to Upper Merion Dental for their flexible hours and caring staff. I should note, I HATE going to the dentist. It is easy to find, a great building. Walked in a few minutes early, was promptly greeted by a Phillies clad staff. Filled out only two forms and was called back. Dental Assistant (forgive me if there is a different title these days) was kind and quickly brought the doctor in. Of course, I needed a filling. There was NO PAIN at all. He numbed me up, THEN gave me a shot. He was funny, nice and talked about what his kids are dressing up as for Halloween. I was in and out and have a follow up appointment. If you are looking for a practice that has it's act together ... make an appointment.
