This is to inform you of the totally unprofessional, discourteous, rude, and heartless treatment I experienced at Parkridge Dental. I had an appointment for a cleaning. When I finally entered the hygienist's cubicle I experienced a pitch for deep cleaning, followed by a graph made up of red and blue numbers. I told her that I did not want that procedure just wanted my teeth cleaned and checked for any cavities, etc. She returned with the "office manager" for a "tag-team" approach for selling this deep cleaning started. My words of "do not want, not interested" made no difference to either one. I heard "license is at stake" so I agreed to sign a statement saying I did not want the deep cleaning procedure. Your approval was now required but you did not have time to check me, so I would have to re-book another appointment. I spent over an hour at Parkridge and all I received was rudeness because I would not agree to a more expensive and painful procedure. I have never experienced such total lack of dental etiquette. I was humiliated by both of them. I will not be calling for another appointment have no intention of returning for future dental care. I will not subject myself to future abuse I would receive for not agreeing to expensive procedures which I do not want. Your practice seems to be interested in only selling the most expensive treatments available rather than caring for the patient's ongoing routine needs.
