Fabulous Food, Warm Ambience, A Must Try 11/14/2008

This charming gem of a restaurant in the quaint little Village of Skippack is the best ! The cuisine is exquisite and the ambience is divine. Everything from the delicious wood oven baked gourmet pizzas to the delectable entrees the Chef creates is mouth watering wonderful. Many local residents frequent this restaurant and new diners are always streaming in. The bartenders have many loyal customers and are always happy to welcome newcomers. Seafood, succulent steaks, pasta creations, and daily specials are just a few of the offerings to choose from. The portions are very satisfying but make sure to save room for dessert. I highly recommend the creme brulee. Pros: Wonderful cuisine, attentive service more

wonderful bread & pastries and great outdoor seating 10/5/2008

Our meal started out great - interesting cocktails, yummy bread, interesting first course. and then we waited and waited and waited. Thankfully - my husband and I were having fun sitting and talking about the people passing by as we continued to wait. We really felt like we were in France having a leisurely meal. The waitress stopped by every 5 minutes and kept saying, "" your food will be out shortly"" ""I've checked on your meal, it will be one more minute"". People around us were served their food. We ordered another round of drinks. ""your food will be out shortly"" when the drinks came. It was literally one hour between courses! The place wasn't packed - other people came and went but we sat their waiting. Unfortunately, when our food arrived it was not warm and not as wonderful as the bread and our apps had been. And ... we didn't have time for dessert. Pros: bread, drinks & doggies-in-the-park watching Cons: we had an hour long wait in between food courses more

fun crowd 8/27/2008

Thank you to the bartender, Jack or Steve, we've forgotten his name, for being so accomodating. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Lunch consisting of mussels(delicious--make sure to dip their crusty bread in the sauce!) and the frites. The cheese plate was not very generous at all and way overpriced for the portion size. We will definitely be back to sample their other fares. Pros: Great service, crowd Cons: overpriced more
