On December 4, 2009 my life changed drastically. While sitting at the red light I was hit at 50 mph. I was very lucky that I survived accident, but I was left with permanent injuries. Herniated disk in both my neck and low back, but the injury to mid back was worse. I have disk tear at T7 and T8 is not only herniated but pushing in to my spinal cord causing spinal cord deformity. Surgery would be major and very risky. Not wanting to take that risk at 43 years old. I was told that I would need to loss weight, but most importantly build muscle around my injuries. \r

I was able to get a lot weight off on my own by walking every night, but I needed to start building my muscle tone. The thought of going to the gym trying to do this on my own just did not seam like a good idea. Then I found Paradise Boot Camp immediately contact my doctors to see what they though. Doctors all agreed that would be the best thing for me, as there would be instructor there to assist me and help modifications if needed to prevent me from injuring myself even worse. \r

I was excited and scared at the same time as I had no idea what to expect when I started boot camp. The first day of camp I noticed that there was all fitness levels, ages and all walks of life within our class. Ed was able to adjust everyone’s workout to there fitness level. I was what you consider a newbie to working out. After the first day, I was out breath, and severely out of shape. The second first week, I noticed a huge difference in my overall stamina and strength. Going into my fourth week I went back to the my doctor. He was thrilled and amazed at results. I lost two dress sizes, lost five percent of body fat and gain muscle tone. For me personally I gain something even better empowerment. Boot camp has challenged me in every aspect of my daily life ie..physically, mentally and spiritually/ I have learned a lot about myself in the short fours weeks. \r

The owner Ed is incredible fitness instructor for all fitness levels. The best thing about Ed is the passion he has for improving others ’ lives to their maximum potential. What can you expect from Paradise Boot Camp? Expect the unexpected. To be challenged to your limits and then some. Most of all FUN!!\r
