I am a person, not a bird 4/17/2006

I want food when I go to eat. Panera does not fill me. It almost seems like the vegetarians hatched an evil plot to prevent people from eating a meaty meal. My wife loves this placem but I absolutely hate it! I have yet to find one thing on the menu that I truly enjoy. I find myself being way too hungry after leaving Panera, while being considerably lighter in the pocket book despite not getting very much for my money. more

Panera Bread 4/14/2006

Panera Bread is the best place for soups and sandwiches in the Urbana-Champaign area. They also offer bagels and coffees, and other drinks that would be great to bring to any meeting. There is often a long line here but it is worth the wait as the line moves very quickly! Their food is definitely of the highest quality! more

Not Bad 4/10/2006

Panera is a great place on a rainy or cold day. They have soups, sandwiches, and great coffee treats. They also have fantastic pastries and bagels. To me the soup and sandwiches aren't anything spectacular, but the bagels, pastries, and coffee are great. The prices seem pretty high, especially for sandwiches and coffee. There's definitely a lunch rush every day, but in between rush times the place is pretty peaceful and you can enjoy your meal. more

Panera 3/16/2006

We had not heard of Panera before we moved to Champaign, but it quickly became one of our favorite places to eat. They have a large variety of unique sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. They also sell a variety of drinks, bagels etc. My favorite is the Turkey Artichoke sandwich with an orange scone. They people that work there are always friendly and fast. They get the orders out quickly even though they are usually pretty busy. more
