Pampered Pets Resort

Myself and my wife decided to go on a trip for my birthday so we had to find somewhere for the dogs to stay. we have three shih tzu's. Called they quoted me the price and size over the phone so decided to board them there. We we arrived we regretted it right away looked horrible the pool was filled with algae. We asked to see a bigger cage and the entire place was a mess. Because we had already prepaid our trip so we went ahead. When we picked them up three days later they were all covered in there own pee. .They all looked horrible. The lady tried to explain by saying oh you should have let us know they had a pee problem. In my mind I wanted to know why they didn't even bother to was the pee off of them. I know we only paid for boarding but most boarders will take care of your dog. Then when we got them home they all had to use the bathroom two of the multiple times. So I highly doubt they even walked em properly. this place is horrible do not take your pet there more

I am fairly new to the area, but have already needed the use of a boarding facility twice. My first experience (location shall remain nameless) did not meet the standards to which I was told to expect...let alone what I expected for my animal as a paying customer. When Pampered Pets was referred to me as the place to go I figured I would give it a try. I couldn't have been happier. The facility was very clean; a few ""dog hair tumble weeds"", but lets remember this is a facility that houses animals!! The staff was very pleasant and attentive to me, but especially to my dog. I chose for my dog to stay in the area know as ""Executive"". These are the indoor/outdoor w/ grass runs. The price was great; I had paid more (at the nameless facility) for less!! My dog was able to swim and have play time; yes, these come with an additional cost but it was well worth to know that he was happy. Upon my return, I got a great report on what he did and didn't do during his stay. I feel like they definately treated my guy like part of the family!! Pros: They did exactly what I asked and then some! more

I have used several different kennels for my dog in my travels and I must say that I was impressed. It wasn't the most modern facility but it was clean and the pool was a bonus. It was a little pricey but worth it to know my dogs were taken care of. more

We recently left our dog with Pampered Pets for a week. This was her first time being kenneled. We contacted them last minute and they were more than happy to accommodate her. She seemed to enjoy it very much. My only two cons are I would have liked to be briefed on how she did (I had to pull the information out of the employees) and for how expensive it was, I expected her to at least get a little bath before sending her home. We paid $22 a night to have our dog in an indoor/outdoor kennel but wasn't aware it would be another $16-20 to have her bathed before coming home. I would think that for $150 she could get a little soap and water. Pros: My dog was very happy Cons: Expensive more

I was very disappointed in the grooming. First I was quoted one price on the phone, and when I went to pick my dog up, was given an different price, $20 more. When I questioned it, was told it was up to the groomer to set the price and 'whoops', guess the girl who made my appointment didn't do so. When I did pick up my dog, she was poorly groomed, the length wasn't what I had discussed, overall a very poor job. But since my dog was very stressed and the attitude of the people in there wasn't very friendly, I elected to just leave. I did call later on to complain and say that I wasn't happy. I did get some of the money back but was verbally abused by the owner when I went to pick the money. I don't think I've ever had such an unpleasant experience. more

look at the website the picture of the poodle was not groomed by alison, it was groomed by the former owner of pampered pets grooming salon LETTA! now known as LETTA'S DOGGIE DAY SPA. it looks like the owner of pampered pets resort has absolutely no confidence in his current groomer because he has to use pictures of dogs that are not even customers there! im sure the owner of TINO (the dog's name) would love to know that their pet is being used as false advertisement for Mr. Leigh and his company. more
