I wanted to write a letter of complaint to your offices regarding the poor customer services and rude treatment I received. Upon exiting your office, the front desk office member said these exact words to me, ?Kelly, when is the baby due.? I am not pregnant, never have been pregnant and nor have I ever mentioned anything regarding having a baby or being pregnant at your offices - ever. I looked behind me because I just assumed that someone walked in the door behind me named Kelly. On this day, there was not another women patient in the office nor was there any other person in the waiting room. This comment was directly exactly too me with no mistake. But there was no one behind me and she kept staring at me. I said, ?I am not pregnant? then, instead receiving an apology for the error in judgment, your staff member started arguing with me that I was in fact pregnant to make matters worse. She stated, ?I thought you were pregnant and that you were just talking about it,? perplexed by how her answer could be anything other than a sincere apology, I kindly explained, again ?that never said that and I?m not pregnant.? Then, a third time your staff argued back to me, ?I thought I just herd you talking about being pregnant.? At this point I am studded by her comments and state that ?No, I am not pregnant.? I have no idea why or how these comments were made. Too clear the obvious question that I know is running through your mind, no I am not overweight. I am 5?10, a size six, 30 years old and a former high level competitive swimmer athlete. Which again, begs the question of why I was asked this in the first place? \r
While I understand, that everyone is human and makes mistakes and may say the wrong thing from time to time, including myself, the issue is that your staff member argued with me that I was pregnant, after I clearly stated that I was not and at no point was an apology ever made. This level of customer service is unacceptable and not professional. Had a simple ?I?m sorry for the error? been made, I would have been completely understanding and called it a day, and not be writing this letter. The level of poor customer service that experienced is completely unacceptable. My hope is that no else will ever have to receive the comments I had by writing this letter and that customer service training will be given to your staff to avoid these issues in the future.\r
