This was the first Ob/Gyn office I ever went to, and had been pleased with my overall care and experience at All Care. After moving back to the Buffalo area after three years in Syracuse, I was happy to return to this office, as my experiences with Syracuse's facilities left much to be desired. However, it is highly unlikely I will return to All Care for Women in the future. While my interactions with the nurses and doctors there have been fine, my most recent interaction with the facilities' other staff members (i.e. receptionists and billing specialists) was awful. I can honestly say that they are the most unprofessional office staff I have encountered. For my most recent appointment, there was an issue with my health insurance card, as I had recently switched health insurance companies and that information had not updated yet. Instead of explaining the issue, however, the receptionist only focused on the fact that I did not change my last name when I married (since only my husband's name appears on our insurance card), thus making me feel inadequate and like I had done something wrong. Granted, I understand my choice to keep my maiden name is somewhat unorthodox and can be confusing, yet this should not have been such a big deal especially in a doctor's office that enables women to make informed choices. Up to this point, I had discounted various negative anecdotes about All Care's staff as all my visits had been without incident, yet this was enough to make me wish I had chosen a new gynecologist after returning to WNY. If are you considering an Ob/Gyn in WNY, look elsewhere.
