Disappointed 9/6/2013

The only time I have needed to go to All Care for Women was for my yearly exams and to deal with an UTI. This was the first Ob/Gyn office I ever went to, and had been pleased with my overall care and experience there. After moving back to the Buffalo area after three years in Syracuse, I was happy to return to this office, as my experiences with Syracuse's facilities left much to be desired. However, it is highly unlikely I will return to All Care for Women in the future. While my interactions with the nurses and doctors there have been fine, my most recent interaction with the facilities' other staff members (i.e. receptionists and billing specialists) was awful. I can honestly say that they are the most unprofessional office staff I have encountered. For my most recent appointment, there was an issue with my health insurance card, as I had recently switched health insurance companies and that information had not updated yet. Instead of explaining the issue, however, the receptionist more

This was the first Ob/Gyn office I ever went to, and had been pleased with my overall care and experience at All Care. Instead of explaining the issue, however, the receptionist only focused on the fact that I did not change my last name when I married (since only my husband's name appears on our insurance card), thus making me feel inadequate and like I had done something wrong. Granted, I understand my choice to keep my maiden name is somewhat unorthodox and can be confusing, yet this should not have been such a big deal especially in a doctor's office that enables women to make informed choices. Up to this point, I had discounted various negative anecdotes about All Care's staff as all my visits had been without incident, yet this was enough to make me wish I had chosen a new gynecologist after returning to WNY. If are you considering an Ob/Gyn in WNY, look elsewhere. more

Well...if you are over 65 this is not the practice for you. I have been a patient of All Care for longer than I can remember. But upon arriving at the office for a scheduled appointment, I was asked for my updated insurance card..only to be told they don't accept any Medicare supplemental plans. My options were to sign a waiver and pay out of pocket or find a new doctor. (The re-imbursement from Medicare insurance plans is less than other plans.) When the almighty dollar takes precedence over the care of their patients, something is drastically wrong! more

Not For Women Over Age 65 12/21/2012

Unfortunately, now that I am 65 years of age, All Care for Women will not accept any of the Medicare Supplemental Insurance plans. Therefore, unless you can afford to pay for your medical bills out of pocket, you will have to find another doctor. I was a patient for many, many years and was satisfied with my care. Then upon showing up for an appointment and presenting my new insurance card, I was given the news. It says a lot for a medical practice that puts the almighty dollar before the care of their patients. Very sad. more

Not what I hoped for or needed 7/11/2011

I found Dr. Nabi to be too abrupt and rude when I dealt with her. I have no doubt that she's a knowledgeable doctor, but her bedside manner, for me, was nonexistent. She always rushed through appointments and made me feel bad when I had questions. And the office staff was rude beyond belief. I always left appointments anxious and upset. more

Excellent care 11/28/2009

I discovered Dr. Judith Ortman-Nabi 7 years ago and I'm very glad I did. She is one of the most dedicated and thorough doctors you could ever have. Prior to this, I had numerous issues which my former Dr. dismissed as ""part of menopause."" My issues were so significant that I was unable to enjoy a decent quality of life. Dr. Nabi's amazing care put me back on track to good health. I've continued to receive top notch care from her and appreciate that she listens and clearly explains the results of every examination. She's very forthright and always advises what's needed to stay healthy -- or if issues exist, what the next step will be. My concerns are quickly acknowledged and I've never left her office wondering what's going on. I've been seen by others in her group and find them equally competent and caring. The staff is efficient and responsive to the many concerns and questions I typically have. I heartily recommend Dr. Nabi -- she's an outstanding physician. Pros: One of the best physicians around more

There are better midwives out there 8/30/2009

I was really looking forward to trying out midwifery care, but I did not find it with with Sharon. I don't know if it was a personality conflict or what - she actually said all the right things, but there was something about her that made me feel like she was against me from the beginning. I left the practice because of her. more

The best care in WNY 12/26/2008

This practice is WONDERFUL! I am having my second child and I could not be happier with the doctors and nurses here. They return your calls fast and they never make you feel like you are asking a stupid question. If they feel that they need to see you they get you in the same day as your call--even if they have to stay late and they always explain everything to you in normal terms--none of them are overly scientific. Pros: All practitioners are wonderful and trustworthy Cons: Sometimes the wait time in the office is a little long--but when it it your turn you will receive quality care more

Women's Health Center 12/8/2008

Seeing the same provider from time to time is difficult, very fast in returning phone calls. They moved pretty far for a convienient drive time. Dr. Nabi is superior. Pros: Some practiioners are very helpful Cons: Some brush off your concerns. more
