Mixed feelings. This is a really fun activity for kids, pricing is fair and the selection is good. The employees are very friendly and helpful, but watch out for the owner. Not a pleasant woman. Initially, I chalked it up to her having a bad day, but have since talked to others who have had similar experiences. Call ahead to find out if she's there before you go. more

Painted Plate is AWFUL 6/12/2009

Try to find out what "$5 Friday" is!! I painted a dish from the $5 Friday box which cost me $10?? After I spent over an hour painting it, it went in to be fired and came out with a huge crack to which the owner told me was MY FAULT!?!!? Very professional !!AND she would not refund my money? WILL NEVER RETURN! awful more

Such a fun place!! great variety of bisque and priced reasonably,Farah will match the price if you find an item cheaper at another studio.Good help and there are no extra charges or sitting fees.you just pay for your bisque.Nice music and great people. more

Fun Fun place 8/11/2008

This is a great place to have a fun time. You get to pick out green ware and paint it any way you want.\r There are staff on hand if you need help, or you can do it all on your own.\r Usually take about a week to get your finished product back after you paint it, so plan on that time. more

Lots of fun 3/24/2006

My husband took my 3 year old to decorate any item of her choice. There are so many choices! They had fun sitting and talking for an hour while she painted away. We will definately go back for more fun! PROS: lots of choices, not too expensive CONS: none more

The Painted Plate 11/4/2005

I like this place and my friend used to go there a couple of times and had many masterpieces which she did by herself decorated all through her house.They are very good and helpful and teach you a lot of things.For doing it by yourself ,it comes out to be very good and throughly a masterpiece. more

Relaxing and Fun 7/14/2005

This place is an absolute blast! You can go in with a group or by yourself to do your own masterpiece of pottery. They have a wide selection of things you can pick from to paint. They are very helpful with designs and ideas. They will even look up things for you to stencil on the internet. They are even willing to paint a few details on your item for you. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to create something special. more
