I didn't have a whole lot of experience with PT (well, none actually) when my primary physician referred me to Pacific PT for a knee problem. I made an appointment and saw Dennis who did a thorough evaluation and then said ""You really need to see an orthopedic specialist."" They called my primary who then recommended a specialist and in less than two weeks I was in surgery. Dennis' recognition that something was seriously amiss I am absolutely certain saved me much pain and a much more serious surgical procedure.
I returned for PT after surgery and was really impressed with their professionalism and knowledge, without stuffiness or arrogance. (If you expect your PT ambiance to be aloof and dour, this is not the place for you. All the folks were personable, friendly and really seemed to enjoy their work and their employer.)
Dennis evaluated my progress at the start of each session and revised the exercises as necessary to optimize results. As a result, I made very rapid progress and Dennis was able to sign me out long before my insurance-approved sessions ran out. I have no experience with any other PT clinic, so I don't know if this is standard operating procedure at all therapy providers or if Pacific was showing an exceptional degree of honesty and ethics. I suspect it was the latter. Good job, Pacific!
Pros: Extremely knowledgeable, personable, caring
Cons: Can be busy, especially in late afternoon
