I've been here a couple times for an oil change and once to change my timing belt. I like these guys. I think they are completely competent, trustworthy, and they do a good job. One of the guys who works behind the front desk (Miguel I think) is particularly accommodating and will take you back to the shop to show you what they are doing. They do not try to push unneeded repairs on you, they just do what is necessary. During holidays, they give away calendars and keyrings. It seems like a nice, honest family business, which is why I like them so much.\r more

The service was good and the work performed was clearly explained. I recently paid close to $300.00 to have my brakes replaced at Rons Automotive, in Urbana. I had to take my vehicle back due to my rear brake drums smoking. Even after taking my vehicle to Rons a second time, the work completed was still wrong. For this reason, I took my vehicle to PDR who repaired my brakes correctly. Although I still had to pay for a new complete brake job, I'm happy with the work completed.\r more

Great results overall 6/7/2013

I went to PDR Automotive for a 3 point safety inspection and an oil change and I was quite pleased with the results. They gave a report on what needed to be looked over in the near future on a receipt. That information is also available online which I find convenient who doesn't want to keep track with papers. more

Quick Service 6/6/2013

Emailed the service department on a Friday and they were able to look at the vehicle on Monday. Recieved a call at noon that day stating the problem, the fix, and the cost of repairs. Was then able to pick up the vehicle the next day. Was pleased with the quick response and resolution to the problem. Will be doing business with them again. more

I had PDR put new brakes on my car. After a few days, I noticed they were still squeaking. PDR took another look and cleaned them which worked for a while. A couple months later they were still making noises so I took it back in and they fixed them up again. So far so good, and PDR backs the work they do and didn't charge me for the return visits.\r more

I brought in my car to get a new rim because I thought it was bent. They not only fixed the tire and ensured the rim was good, but it only cost 60 bucks. Less than a new tire for sure. I have always had great service. more

MY OLD CARS 5/28/2013

They understand that when a person owns an old car, they are trying to save money and the repairs must last. They work with you and they commuicate at your desired leval of understanding. For me I want intimate knowledge of the issues and I google ever technical matter. more
