Linda is the BEST. I walked in there with my daughter yesterday for the first time to pick up a few lincoln cents. Didnt spend much money, but got to chatting with Linda. Started talking about how i've been collecting for 30 years and my daughter has taken an interest. Linda showed my daughter a nice collection of 50or 60 lincoln cents from 1909 to1940 and said ""here sweetheart, this is my gift to you"". I couldnt believe it. She just gave my daughter a starter collection worth more than i what i spent in her store. She said she liked to get them interested in collecting early. I wish there were more people like that. Linda, you just made a customer for life. I won't shop anywhere else. more

I went into this establishment to purchase some coins. I have to tell you I was appalled by the woman working there. First, she would not get off the phone. When we had asked to see some items, she rolled her eyes and huffed. WHAT?!?! Here I am ready to spend some money and I get attitude? We were not allowed to touch anything, and then she asked us, very rudely I might add, to come back another time. AS IF... I would highly recommend that you do not waste your time or money visiting this establishment. The service will make you puke. more

Ossie's Rare Coins is a hidden gem in the Allentown business world! I was in a situation where I desperately needed expert advice in an area where I had no knowledge whatsoever - a coin collection. I definitely wasn't sure how to go about getting information or who I could trust. I investigated a LOT of coin dealers and I was generally left feeling like someone who would end up being taken advantage of.....until I had the good fortune to contact Ossie's. Linda happily arranged her schedule to accomodate my traveling to Allentown from North Carolina. That was amazing enough. But while there (on more than one occasion), I had the opportunity to observe her technique and her vast knowledge in action. As if these were not enough to convince me I had made the right choice, I was further impressed by her complete honesty and patient demeanor while explaining and appraising the coins. That in itself was worth the entire experience!!! If you've got coins to sell - or want to buy - RUN to Ossie's. You will leave the same way I did: highly satisfied and just a little smarter for doing business with this well established firm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! more
