All 4 people are charged with failing to report the assault of an incapacitated/vulnerable adult.\r \r According to Scottsdale police, a patient at Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn was sexuallyassaulted on November 17, however, the victim was incapacitated and therefore unable to report the crime until December 12.\r \r The assault was later reported to police by hospital staff in January. According to detectives, the hospital was conducting it's own internal investigation prior to notifying police.\r \r State law requires medical personnel in charge of ""vulnerable adults"" to immediately report suspected abuse to police.\r \r Detectives with the sexcrimes unit interviewed staff and the victim but were unable to identify a suspect in the case. They submitted their findings to the prosecutor's office and the decision was made to charge 4 staff members with failing to report the incident.\r \r Those charged include:\r \r 53 year-old Susan Livengood of Mesa is the Associate Vice President of Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn\r \r 45 year-old Shelly Van Vianen of Phoenix is the Nurse Manager\r \r 44 year-old Patricia Crellin of Phoenix is a Psychiatrist as Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn\r \r 59 year-old Madlyn Costantino of Tempe is a Rehab Coordinator\r \r All 4 are scheduled to appear in court on May 15. Jodi Abernathy is a nurse that currently works at Scottsdale Healthcare North. She had an affair with my husband. She lives with her boyfriend Carlo and cheats on him all the time. Never in all my life have I ever seen suchBIGOTS! God help you if your black, Hispanic or they might think you could possibly be gay. They hire token minority employees and then destroy their reputations and slander them. Repeated trips to HR will do you no good here, The EEOC settled 7 cases in 11 month with these jerks. The CEO Tom Sadvary is a complete tool as is the security managers Lyle Smith and Frank Kroll all down south boys. I should have sued this company when I could and still may just do that for what the did to me. Put employees up to making fake postings of me on gay sites even used my personal email address just because they thought I may have been gay. NOT ! Security Dept is a joke should all be fired after a woman WASraped at their other campus and was covered up. Glad they were criminally charged for that and had to do time. An employee at Shea WASraped and that was brushed under the rug as well. This is an unsafe place to work or be a patient in my opinion, you sure don't want to work here that's for sure. It appears that the administration compiles reviews and carefully adjusts staff, services, and equipment accordingly. This is evident by comparison to mail-in reviews I have completed in the past. Both campuses have improved steadily over recent years. Pros: focused staff, skilled staff, caring staff Cons: E.R. 1st contact more
