Group is OK, but I would not recommend Ira Weintraub. His follow-up care is zilch. I had to have corrective surgery as a result of his botched job. more

Mean and uncompassionate 8/22/2011

Interestingly enough, this was my 3rd visit to this clinic, as I do case management and have had 2 other clients here. This time it was my family. All 3 times, I have found the medical staff (orthopedists and nurses) to be impatient, unsympathetic, non-compassionate, hurry up mentality, treat everyone as if they want pain meds and really rude. This was by 3 different orthopedists I share my experience by. They all seem to be impatient, as if the patient did this to incontinence them. When people go in with pain due to broken bones, a little bit of understanding would go a long way. No, they immediately say, ?we don?t prescribe pain medications.? Now perhaps they deal with addictions a lot with bones, but my niece was 11 and was in serious pain. The nurse even told her when casting, ?well you got to help me, and I am not doing this alone.? Come on! She?s 11! Perhaps it?s their profession that makes them cold and uncompassionate, but if that were the case, all ho more

Shocking 9/30/2010

I was so dishearted by my experience at the Orthopedic & Fracture clinic. I was appalled by my treatment and beside manner by the physician I was seeing. He came highly recommended and unfortunately I was extremely disapointed. I had an MRI, Bone Scan and X-rays. My Dr. never shared them with me and explained nothing. I was told that basically I needed a cortisone shot. The condition I have was not explained to me, after paying all the above expenses, I had to do the research on-line. When I did try and ask questions, he simply clapped his hands and said, "Listen, I need to get moving" as though I was holding him up from something. He then walked out of the room and my jaw hit the ground. I could not get over what I had experienced. I had done such due diligence to get all of this testing done to identify my pain source only to be offered almost no professional information. I will be requesting all of my files and start over with another practice. On the flip side, the phys more

Orthopedic & Fracture Clinic needs a lesson in bed-side manner 9/22/2009

I tend to agree with the previous reviewer. I was not terribly impressed with the way I was treated. Felt as though I was wasting the doctor's time. He read the MRI report..did no physical exam...just told me I needed surgery.Organization I guess has a good reputation, but mediocre bedside manner and office staff has an us/them approach to dealing with patients. more

Big, Impersonal and Non-Empathetic 8/29/2009

I was not overly impressed with this practice. The practice was big and very busy and treated you like a cog in a wheel. The doctor did not listen very well and was very dismissive of the knee pain and issues I had been experiencing. Overall I felt a distinct lack of caring and a very impersonal approach. more
