Dr. Blackwell joined OrthoGeorgia in 2001 and specializes in Hand Surgery. His training includes degrees in Mechanical and Bioengineering, Medical School at MUSC/Charleston, Orthopaedic Residency at Erlanger MC/Chattanooga, and Hand Surgery Fellowship with Dr. David P. Green. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery. Acute and chronic conditions are treated - from elbow to finger tips. Surgical expertise includes hand & wrist trauma (involving skin, bone, muscle, tendon, nerve and/or vessel), as well as acquired conditions such as arthritis, tendonitis, nerve compression, infection, vascular disease, and tumors. Patients of all ages are welcome.
