AAA member "I LOVE THIS PLACE" 12/14/2011

These folks have taken care of me for over 15 years and they are always on time, professional and straight up. I've had them boost my battery a few times and they never tried to up sell me a new battery if I didn't need it. I've been to the shop too and they are the most helpful people you can find. Take it from a AAA member for over 25 years "One Stop Shell" is top shelf. Keep in mind too that if they weren't looking out for the customer AAA would not be associated with them. That's important to know. more

The worst repair shop in brooklyn 6/17/2011

Car have a no-start conditions, towing came to pick up my car to the repair shop. it cost me over $800 dollars for the no-start problem. they saying they replace a brand new battery, starter, alternator and a serpertine belt. Warning dont bring your car there. will freaking rip-off..... more

If the person that answers the phone is representing this Shell Station, there are problems, made us wait over 2 hours to be picked up to bring the car to the dealer and said would be another 2 hours and the dealer would have been closed, this shop is very unprofessional. I do not recommend this station. more

These guys are the worse. They deserve less than one star. They charge you for everything and will invariably tell you there is something with your car to be repaired. They're also the rudest set of people on the face of the earth (no joke). I beg you not to take your car there (I didn't have a choice -- I called AAA and they, unfortunately took my car to their shop). Never again more

I have used One Stop numerous times.Replaced Cats/Muffler,and air cond.recharge among those repairs.Honest and reliable. more

they are a AAA shop and they towed my car in and my car needed a started and they repaired my car while I waited at a reasonable price. They were very nice guys and I will definitely return for all my future repairs. Thank you One Stop. more

I have been going to One Stop Shell for many years now and the owner in a great guy and they always do a great job.the tow truck guys are so good and helpfull. I have never had a problem with using One Stop Shell. Thats why they are # 1 AAA in Brooklyn more

I have been going to One Stop Shell for 15 years now and cant say anything but good about them the owner is a sweet heart and i am always happy with the job they do on my car. If anyone has something bad to say just don't beleave it. more

Sour Grapes 8/10/2009

After reading other reviews there were some mechanics that said it didn't have to be done, I could have done it cheaper prompting the consumer to bring their car to that mechanic the next time how could they tell it did't have to be done after it was fixed. In one instance they said there was nothing wrong with the airconditioner. If it was already changed, the new one installed, what did they do, get the old one back,install it on another vehicle. In any profession anybody that knocks another persons work simply doesn't have enough work of their own and is looking to steal customers from someone else. Thats where the sour grapes come in. Don't believe what you read till you know the source 8/10/2009

Brought my old 86 GMC Jimmy with brake problems. New the extent of the problem already. I told them to check it, didn't tell them I already knew. Got a call telling me what was wrong and how much it would cost. Told them to go ahead. They called me back told me there's another problem, the truck won't start, something electical. I told them forget it. While on the phone laughing as he said it, yelled out, take the bat to it. When I picked it up they told me they found the problem. I asked how much extra they told me for get it. Does this sound like a pack of theives. Brother from Brooklyn more

DO NOT GET INSPECTION HERE!!!! 9/27/2007

They failed my car because of a 3rd Brake light (they said needed new electronical wiring) Would cost $250. ALL IT NEEDED WAS A BULB(79 CENTS) It's really amazing how many cars fail by things THEY DETECT and pass with the emission and other tests the machine prints out. BE AWARE THAT THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO FOR INSPECTION!!!! I would love to know how many cars have failed at this station because OF WHAT THEY SAY IS WRONG. I believe this station should be checked out for how many inspection failures they give compared to how many they pass. Perhaps it's because they take advantage of women. more

Great Mechanics 7/27/2007

I went One Stop Shell after trying to get my car fixed at three other shops.I spent an average of $400.00 at each of those shops and still had the same problem. The dealer wanted $149.00 just to check the car The guys at One Stop Shell were wonderful. They diagnosed the problem in about an hour and replaced an ignition module. I have had no problems since. The only AAA Repair Facility in Brooklyn (I checked) I would highly recommend them to anyone. more

WORST SHOP EVER 7/10/2007

They charged me $45 for a diagnostic, even though I told them not to do ANYTHING. They wouldn't give me m car keys if I didn't pay them the money, they run a dirty business and extort money from people who believe in honest business. SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO TO ANOTHER SHOP!!!! more

Great Tow company 12/13/2005

This is one of the great tow companies in Brooklyn. There in Dyker Heights on 86th street and 15th avenue. It has it all it's a Shell Gas station, Towing, and mechanic. The people that work there are really nice. If you ever need a tow call them, I know they are a AAA company so that was also a plus for me but they took care of me and my car that anytime I need a tow I call them. more
