Called prior to pick up of car and asked how much total cost of repairs would be. Asked if cash discount. Owner said yes...but when I got there, he charged me more...making excuses that he had miscalculated original, etc. I didn't have my check book, and ended up paying over $800 cash. Had the care less than 3 days, and same problem reoccurred. Husband took car back and was told that battery cable was loose. 1 day later I was stranded at mall with daughters and a friend. Husband was tired of poor service from a repair shop that lacked attention to detail and did sloppy work...went to PEP BOYS, bought new battery, and have had no problems since. Day after picking up car, before problems began, took Navigator to have aircondition repaired. Had been quoted $1200 the fall before by another repair shop but decided to wait for summer to repair. One Stop quoted me $1700. I told him to put truck back together, I would pick up. Paid him over $100 because he had to take dash out to supposedly diagnose and replace freon. Big rip off. I can't say that he was definitely dishonest, but I wouldn't ever recommend or trust this repair shop again.;
