Olive Garden Restaurant 8/1/2006

One of my favorite restaurants. Olive Garden serves up good Italian cuisine. Their breadsticks and one-of-a-kind menu make them an American icon. Standard Italian options like bruchetta, calamari, ravioli, and eggplant parmigiana line their lengthy menu. More items like salmon, chicken dishes, and innovative pizzas are also available. For the calorie-minded, Olive Garden has a range of low fat options. Their bottomless salads are awesome and ensure a well-balanced feast. Enjoy your meal with a bottle from their good wine list or one of their tropical island drinks. Finally, top it all off with a little something from their dessert menu- their cakes, custards, and ice creams. Lunch and take out menus are available. http://local.yahoo.com/results?fr=dd-local-more&stx=olive+garden&csz=Port+Richey%2C+FL more

For the Italian in you. 4/8/2006

When it comes to Italian food we head for the Olive Garden. It is so easy to find on US 19 close to the Mall and many of the large stores. The hosts are always polite. The decor is great. Service at this location is first class. However, my favorite part is the endless salad bowl. My husband loves the endless bread sticks. I can tell you by the time the main course arrives you are almost full. The food is plentiful and of a high standard. At lunchtime we eat for around $7 a person but at dinner expect to pay $9 - $14 per entrée. more

Always a great choice 3/29/2006

I have been to this Olive Garden for a birthday dinner. I was really surprised, and quite pleased that the prices are not exorbitant! For a classy Italian restaurant I expected great good, but also higher prices. They are very fair. I always stick with a healthy meal, such as a salad. But my family recommends the chicken alfredo. If you are a vegetarian you can ask them to hold the chicken. They are pretty darn generous with the portions and we always end up taking home a doggy bag of leave overs. If you want good Italian cuisine and are on a budget this is for you. more

  • In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.
