This was the second time I purchased a Scion tC from Kenny Thomas Olathe Toyota & Scion, both times I had the pleasure of working with Robert Jackson. This time I also worked with Beau Thomas and he was great to work with as well. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from either of these two salesmen. One of their best attributes the lack of being pushy, I never felt like they were trying to push me into buying a car. Any issues or questions I had were answered in terms I could understand and the answers didn't seem to be rigged to make them look good. If something was truly an issue they'd admit it. Olathe Toyota offered me a fair price on my 2008 Scion tC and gave me a great deal on my 2011 tC. I was able to haggle with them a little on the price and they were more than willing to work with me and get a price that I was happy with. In regards to their service, anytime I went in for a service on my tC the people I dealt with were pleasant and courteous. In my few years of working with Olathe Toyota & Scion I've never had a bad experience and plan to continue my business as well as recommend their business to others. more

My salesperson, Kent Cusack, was the most professional, knowledgable, friendly and honest car dealer I have ever worked with. Great price, lifetime warranty, and no car sales BS, just great service! It was a pleasure to work with him and I would highly recommend him and Olathe Toyota to anyone in the market for a new or used Toyota. They also have a great customer service department. I worked with Shannon Merkel. We did most of the negotiation via email as I live nearly 800 miles away from the Olathe dealership. During the course of this purchase I talked with 6 different Toyota dealerships/salespersons. Shannon was easily the most knowledgeable and personable of the group. She listened to what I was looking for, responsive, and informative. Negotiation with Shannon was fair and straightforward. My family (father, uncles, grandfather) have all bought vehicles from Olathe Toyota even though most of us live a considerable distance from Olathe. I brought my Celica in for repair and inspection and talked with Toyota personnel about its few noticeable quirks. They where very knowledgeable and knew how to go about their business in a professional manner. They asked precise questions and wrote down all my answers as well as my concerns and suggestions. They followed my instructions on who and when to call about payment as well as pick up availability and they were never anything less than polite and sincere. I don?t know about anyone else?s experience but mine was as positive as they get. more

I had a great sales experience, it was quick and easy. They transferred a car in from another dealer for me, I just walked in and signed the papers and drove away. The service dept has been another story altogether. They replaced a faulty radio and managed to damage the dash and console in the process. It's been 5 visits now and it's still not right. I will never come back after they finally fix it. I guess I'm paying for that great sales experience now. more

Good: They Offer a Lifetime Warranty on Powertrain for their cars.. Bad: They do not return phone calls or e-mails and I was TRYING to buy a car!. Improvements: More common courtesy and less car salesmen attitude (ala the movie Lemons).. Other: I was interested in a new car, so I visited this dealership. I test drove a car and the salesmen quoted me a great price. When I called back to take advantage of that, he was not in. I e-mailed and left messages and he never responded. Maybe he quoted too low of a price and was not allowed to honor it. Who knows. So I went to Crown Toyota in Lawrence, where they matched the price and even beat it by $200, then went one better and got me financed at 1 % under my bank's rate.. more

This dealership is much better compared to others in the area. Granted they want to make the most money out of a sale, they are much nicer than other people. They try relatively hard to get you in a car. I like this dealership much more than superior toyota on SM parkway. more
