Okc restoration church and any\r of the United restoration churches have saved people from lives of sin. Have taken people\r out of drug addictions and brought families back together. What other church do you know\r of that takes in the homeless and feds them and clothes them and teaches them about\r the love of God so that way they won't have to snort lines have to lose everything\r instead there is something greater and that is being saved by JesusChrist. They don't ""deny""\r mental ill patients they're medications. They simply want to get them out of their\r Dependence on them. Why would anyone want to stay mentally ill? I was once a member of this congregation. THis church sounds like a good idea at first, a christian in home living center where people fomce to know Christ and turn away from mind altering substances and alchol, right ? After about a month there, the holy spirit convicted me with the since of urgency lot must've felt when he was instructed to leave sodom and gomorrah. Here's why, THE RESTORATION CHURCH IS A CULT!!!! Several of the churches and Pastor Peter Vasquez 's teachings go right agianst the biblical teachings. For example, the teaching that the church is ""above the law,"" that you can be unsaved, and that restoration church is the only place in the Entire World where once can come to know Christ. Constant fasting is strictly inforced by mexican body guards, and anyone whom even remotely dissagrees with the churches teachings is ""agianst God and the church"" The multi-day services are based around 6 or 7 scriptures versus the entire Bible. And worst yet, there's a huge gaurd dog in the back of the church to keep from people escaping the institution. Alot of people are kept thereagianst their will, and are practically held hostage. Mentally ill patrons are denied mental health services and medications. Patrons go about panhandling for the church instead of being encouraged to do what is biblical and work. Peope are restricted from the news and other media at all costs. AVOID THIS FOR YOUR SOUL. If you have a mind altering medications or alcholhol problem, THIS PLACE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! There are a multitude of AA,NA,CA and OO programs and sober living centers in OKC. You don't need to be there. Cons: All more

Restoration Church is an awesome outreach opportunity for the cause of Christ, which focuses on aiding drug-addicted men and women in lifestyle change. Program attendees are housed and fed, both with food and the Spirit. \r \r This church is located at the corner of Linwood and Brauer, and just down the block from a rental property I own, and have had many problems with.
