This place is nice, it is close to the water and overall the food and drinks are good. The people can be nice sometimes and not others, depends on when you go. It does get a little crowded in the evening, people eating and drinking before going home I guess. But I like the place. more

My wife and I have visited O'Keefe's on many occasions, and we have become big fans! The food is always a delight, ronie is great in the kitchen. Some buddies had told me about O'Keefe's years ago but I haven't been back in a while. But on this visit I made it a point to stop in, what a mistake. Although my meal was outstanding it was overshadowed by the gloomy guy behind the counter. I think his name was Terance and he was extremely condescending. He had no interest in me or my questions about the Lake county area. The burger was really good so cheers to the chef but the ""Pub"" atmosphere term should be used lightly. THIS IS A NICE PLACE TO UNWIND WITH FRIENDS, ENJOY A FEW BOTTLES OF WINE, LISTEN TO SOME MUSIC AND LOOK OUT OVER THE LAKE. WE ALSO LOVE THE FOOD AND WHAT A BEER SELECTION JUST ASK TERRENCE IF YOUR NOT QUITE SURE ABOUT ANY OF THE BEERS, HE IS A TRUE BEER GURU. This is a True Irish pub! The food is outstanding traditional pub fare and the beer is what you would expect from the same. A fine selection indeed. Wonderful atmosphere. Great staff. I came across this site and was amazed to see all this blatent slander about my favorite bartender. I have known Terence and his family for years. They have always been proffesional and courteous. It is a shame to see someone who has worked his way up from the bottom to be slammed this way. Not only are these reveiws malicious, they are fictitious, i.e. Terence was voted bartender of the year in a county wide publication just a few years back. I could go on at length about my friend, but for your sake I won't. I just thought that someone should set the record straight. So if you want great service, great beer, and great food, stop by O'Keefe's, I highly doubt you'll be disappointed. more

Good service bartender keeps up bar conversation. Awesome beer selection huge draft selection as well as bottle. Great front porch for smoking and eating. Has the best St. Pats party I have ever been to try to go ever year. more

We were truly disappointed. We went to O'keefe's a year ago and had the best service we ever had. Our waitress Morgan was fun, outgoing, very knowledgeable about the menu and all the beer from around the world. She had all our names memorized and always had a smile on her face. Even when the food was coming out a little slow she had nothing but nice things to say about the quaint family owned pub. We were back in town recently and raved about the place to our family so we headed down to the pub. What a mistake! We sat at the bar because we couldn't get a server to seat us. The bartender was so obnoxious he didn't even make eye contact. He spent most of the night playing with his pony tale and smoking outside which is doubly unsanitary. We never even saw him wash his hands. He acted like we were bothering him if we asked anything about the beers. The food came out cold probably because he was too busy drinking beers outside with some locals to pick up our order. What a let down . Morgan were are you? They have great food but you are going to pay for it, Beer is expensive. The Bartender the night we went was Terence by far the most rude and obnoxious bartender I have ever seen since I moved to Florida in 2003. He remembers people that don't leave him 20% tip for his sub par service and will ignore you for 15 minutes the next time you come in. It happened while I was there.
