Ohio State Waterproofing

Good: Ohio State waterproofing was very good at communication..with progress of the waterproofing as well as the issues that can arise with any home improvement project. The EZ-breath works well. We no longer need the dehumidifier.. Bad: The clean up left much to be desired. The guys muddied up carpet,doors and their handles,sidewalk and driveway. I had to pressurewash my sidewalk and driveway so that they would be passible. We have three areas of are siding that has gotten stained from some sort of a spray. This will not come off. It is permatelly stained. Also I have still yet to reinstall the molding that got tore down going down into the basement. We also have this ugly plastic pipe coming out the side of the house. Very poor mortar wor. Improvements: We were told that everything would be put back and cleaned up afterwards so the salesman says. Are yard and around the house is a disaster. It will take many hours to get it back to normal. Maybe the dirty workers should not be the ones who do the clean up. If you are all dirty and muddy how can anyone expect them to clean things up correctly? Maybe some training in how to cut the molding that connects the Dura Shield. The corners and around the windows are very poorly mitered and cut. The sheets are bowed.. Other: We have seen other companies work on our friends houses and they did not have the outcome that we have had. With the poor miter cuts and bowed or buckled sheets of Dura Shield, we can not wait to get them covered. If for no other reason, just so we will stop hearing from friends '' How much did you pay.'' The EZ-breath does work very well. The dehumidifier never runs at all anymore.. more

High pressure sales team asking to much personal information. Do not recommend, there are other compony's out there, prices maybe similar yet more trustworthy. more

would not let them waterproof my dog house the high pressure sales to them not doing what you pay for then having them come back at there good old time to try to fix it right but failed had to argue with the rep even to get that done there system does nothing but cover up the problem and the ezy breeze system is totally a joke my basement floor got wet and they blamed the ezy breeze and said we needed a dehumidifer and it does not take the smell out of house more

Ohio State waterproofing came and did a full restore on my basement. I was very pleased with the sales rep all the way to the work of the crew that completed the job. they were very professional and quick with the work. more

I just had my basement waterproofed by Ohio State Waterproofing after numerous recommendations and I am very pleased with the outcome. OSW kept me informed every step of the way, the guys were professional and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Good: nothing. Bad: The rep came out and tried to give me numerous reasons why I am getting water in my living room except that maybe, just maybe, someone messed the job up. Reason1: old sewer system. Not, replaced within the last 12 years. Reason 2: many new homes built. Not, zero new homes in 25 years. Reason 3: New gutter installation. Not, had that company out already. He put some green glow stuff in the sewer to show me that when he put the hose in my downspout the green stuff flowed to where it should.. Improvements: I would like to have someone from the company to dig the section up were the water is entering but he said they won't. I asked if they had some sort of camera they could put in there and he said they did not. $70 million dollar company and no camera. Imagine that.. Other: We never had water in our living room until they did the work at our home. His solution was to have a crew come and caulk the gap between the siding channel and our concrete patio. A lot of good that is going to do when that gap is necessary for expansion. Guess he thought I was born yesterday. It is raining now and the carpet is wet once again. Don't know where to go from here. It seems that problems don't start for 5 or 6 years. But I am sure they will always have a reason it is not their fault.. more

Good: They worked fast and left everything as it was before they did any digging.. Bad: The fact that six years later I have water in my living room and who knows how long this has been going on since the area is not in a traffic area.. Improvements: Instead of sending a rep. out, they send a labor supervisor out to actually check their work.. Other: First time we had water in our living rm we tended to agree with the rep. that it might have been water that had nowhere to go since the ground was frozen. Not frozen now and I watched the water seeping into our living room (slab home). It was suggested that Ohio State does not put the drain tile down to the bottom of the footers which would be below the freeze line. If true the tile could have frozen and split or shifted. They will be out Wed. and we will see how they fix this. Have blk mold under carpet.. more

I liked the people who worked on my basement. They were polite and engaged in conversation with me on every stage of the job as they went along. The workers cleaned up behind themselves after each work day which was a plus. The entire staff was experienced and was knowledgable about the waterproofing process and because of them, my basement is no longer smelly and mold is a thing of the past now. more

THIS COMPANY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD TO WATER PROOF OUR BASEMENT. THEY WERE ON TIME ,CAREFUL IN HANDLING THINGS STORED IN THE BASEMENT AND WERE NEAT WITH THEIR OUT SIDE WORK. CLEAN UP WAS VERY SATISFACTORY . I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL WHO NEED THIS SERVICE more

I recommend Ohio State Waterproofing, the guys worked hard, were courteous, answered all my questions and left things better than when they arrived. Now I am looking forward to the next heavy rain instead of dreading it !! more

These guys really work there buuts off. They got in got it done and their work was almost spotless.I was a little sceptic at first but after 3 days and 8-10 guys on the job, I was really impressed. I would really recommend this company to anyone with water issues. 5 star service!! more

Thanks for a job well done . My husband and I can rest and not have to worry about the rain ,fearing that there will be a flood in the basement each time it rained.. The crew was outstanding ,very polite and professional: when the job was compleated they cleaned up after themselves,cleaning the basement floor,mopping the basement steps and even cleaning mud from the driveway.. Avoid this company like the plague. After $8,000 my basement still has water, the smell is still there, and they have repeatedly missed appointments to come back to fix the problem. I would give them negative stars if possible more

Took only 2 days. Kevin and crew were polite and professional. They even cleaned up the mess left from this spring's basement flooding! The basement smells better already thanks to their work and the EZ Breathe. more

Ohio state waterproofing did an amazing job on my basement. I have not had any problems since it's been done. They finished about two weeks ago and the smell alone makes me know that its working! Thank you a lot guys, the hard work was worth it! more
