MUST READ: Awful experience... These people scammed my mom out of 600$ for ""replacing my brakes"". Only a few months later they went bad again and I came back to ask them what the problem was. The first thing the owner said was, and I quote, ""There is no guarantee on them"". I asked them to ONLY check what was wrong with the brakes and they put my car on the rack. Later I asked the main person at the front desk what was wrong with the brakes, he said I need to replace three things which I cant remember what they were, and he claimed it would cost 450$. I said get my car off the rack and he told the guys to put the tires back, and get it down in a very mean and unprofessional way. I then asked him why he didn't tell me about any of that while I was waiting for 30 minutes watching the workers just stand around my car doing nothing, and he started yelling at me claiming they were checking the brakes... I calmly said, ""Ok no problem, but why didn't you put the car down after figuring out what was wrong with it? All I asked was for you to check that and do NOTHING else"". Again he yelled at me screaming saying, and again I quote, ""We can't see through the metal! We had to take the tires off to see what was wrong with the brakes"". I am only 16 years old and he yelled at me very unprofessionally. These people are the equivalent to con artists, and I highly recommend you find a new place to take your car. more

My eleven year old car needed an ignition switch. Knowing the car repair business, I crossed my fingers hoping I would be able to ""get"" the part (since you never know with an older car - especially one they no longer manufacture). Yes, they did charge a hefty markup on the part. However, the repair came in UNDER the Flat Rate Book time allowed - they were very pleasant - and worked with my schedule. Then the switch had a problem - they took me right in - fixed it while I waited, politely - and no additional charges. Running a large shop is difficult - lots of overhead. I feel they did a fine job and as a woman on her own - I appreciated the way I was treated. Pros: Under estimate - on time - backed up warranty on part more

good place to get ripped off! 5/18/2009

told us they couldn't bypass bad a/c compressor (found out later dodge makes and sells kit to do this. Made over 100% mark-up on retail pricing of parts in addition to charging $80/hr for labor. Stay away. Many honest repair shops in town. Pros: when times were good, they were more honest Cons: times are tough for OSAR, they are taking advnt of people more
