worthy of the effort 12/29/2005

You have to weed through a lot of junk, sometimes, to find gems.. but the gems make it worthy of the search. I've found a lot of wonderful items for my home and gifts for friends here without denting my wallet in the slightest... if you like your shopping all shiney and new, this may not be your place.. but if you're willing to dig through the rough to find a diamond, a diamond you will find at the Ocean State Job Lot. more

Bargins 10/11/2005

This store sends out adds each week. In it I am amazed at some of the prices. I will stop at the store to pick up something that was featured in the add and end up walking out with several bags full of stuff. I recently bought some binoculars as a birthday gift for a child. He loved them. When I went back to buy more they were out of that style. They were small and powerful. They had larger ones in stock. The saleslady mentioned that they more than likely would have more before Christmas. So if you see something you might want grab it or it might not be there when you go back! more
