The Ocean Beach farmer's market happens every Wendesday night. The best part is that it's year round, so there is a great rotation of local crops available. The market has expanded to include crafts and art items as well, but the focus is on fabulous fruits and vegetables and fresh flowers. I particularly like Hidalgo flowers, which are on the south side of the street with the big white truck. There is live music at the Newport/Bacon intersection and also a llama jumpy and llama rides for the kids. Highly recommended. Shop the market and they stay in OB for dinner. Tis a great way to spend a Wednesday!
