i just left the Kragen store on W. San Carlos and received the crappiest customer service available. I also bought a battery. I am disabled and recovery from a spinal fusion surgery. I had to lift my old battery out myself and put the new battery in. The manager didn't even have the ---s to acknowledge or help me out. He is a total jerk and doesn't have a clue as to how to treat a customer. If I could I would give them a zero rating! more

They are a rip-off. All for me and screw you! 1/19/2009

I purchased a cigarette lighter (cartridge only ) from the manager of the store on Prospect road. I plugged it in and my wiring harness melted down. Truck had to be towed and the repair time was over one month due to labor dispute. \r I had to take them to court! 1st time they caved and said your check for $1050 was in the mail. They phoned later that week to say "No deal" no money for you. So back to court after having my electrical system certified by GM; I win the case but had to Waite till the end of the appeal time to collect. It took over one year to collect. \r If you want real problems but something BIG and have it go wrong. They will send you to hell trying to correct it. \r There opinion is that "it is your fault. We have no responsibility." Eat it! NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP INSIDE A KRAGEN FOR ANYTHING. I'd advise you to do the same.\r Don\r PS: Kragen is part of CSK auto so the other two companys run by the same MO more

Here is situation. I 've just bought a brandnew battery to replace my old battery, which does not hold charge as I desire. I installed the new one right in front of the store, but as I tried to start my engine, my engine did not response even a single click of the starter. I came in the store and explained to one of the employee the situation. Without thinking a checking the battery, he said that "there is something wrong with your car! " I replied "if something is wrong with my car how could I started my engine without a jumpstart and drove it here." He persisted to tell me that my car has something wrong. I brought the battery to the store' s supervisor, but he said that "because you already installed the battery so I am not responsible for it any more. When you bought it, it is your." Since then he ignored me as a customer after throwing in my face that " if you want, you can come back tomorrow and see the store manager. He is going to tell you the same thing." I could not believe t more
