Randy gave me a quote of $1248. The worker he sent had never worked with silicone before and got it all over himself and the tile. All the silicone the worker did was lumpy and all over the lower tile. Randy the owner removed some of the silicone but some of it remains on the tile down from the deck and top of the tile where it should have gone. Loose tiles that were to be replaced stuck out and had to be removed. Randy put those back on but had to wait a day to grout extending the job. The third day Randy said he wanted more money and I refused to pay extra. I called to see when the excess silicone would be removed and I was told Friday or Monday. Nobody called or showed up. Some of his equipment still remains at my house. I am now down on my hands and knees with a wet and soapy razor trying to remove the excess silicone. Because of the structure of the pool only three sides of the pool and two sides of the spa had to be done--a 20,000 gallon pool. As far as I can tell Randy isn't licensed by the Contractors Licensing Board. Part of his problem is he lives in Upland and most of his business is in Orange County.
